BENEFITS OF THE POINTS & PLAY MEMBERSHIP/ PROGRAM
The Points & Play program operated by the Manager, Classic Leisure PtyLtdtrading as Classic Holidays (ABN 99 097 693 144), gives additional flexibility and options to Classic Holiday Club members. It provides access to exchange your Club Points for Accommodation at over 5,000 resort locations and cruises around the world throughourExchange partner and through Classic’s in-house members’ travel agency, IYC Travel. Points Play members can also use their points towards the purchase of airfares, cruises, tours and other travel products.
These Terms & Conditions are the official operating rules of the Points & Play program and are provided to ensure a clear understanding of the program. These Terms & Conditions are subject to change without notice.

- ENROLMENT AND RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP
1.1.To participate in the Points & Play program, Classic Holiday Club Members must be enrolled in the program and the membership must be current (ie Renewal fee paid) at the time of booking. If the initial 3 year membership has lapsed, and the member wishes to participate in the Points & Play program, the member must pay the renewal fee and the membershipwill have its start date at the end of the preceding three year period (as if the membership had been continual).
1.2.The Points & Play membership is valid for three (3) consecutive years.
1.3.The Points & Play membership is not transferrable.Should the Classic Holiday Club Membership be sold/transferred, the new member is required to pay the Enrolment fee and the full Renewal Fee (for a full 3-Year term) at the time of transfer.
- BOOKINGS / RESERVATIONS
2.1Members should refer to the Classic Holiday Club Guidelines & Regulations on the Classic Holidays website for full information on reservations & bookings for Club Properties or they can contact the Member Services team via phone, email or fax.

2.2All bookings must be confirmed with Members, by the Club in writing, fax or email, and a reservation number must be assigned to that booking to validate it. Members should refer to the specific booking terms and conditions (as listed on the Confirmation Letter) for each reservation, as these may vary.
2.3 PointsMembers can bank their Points with the Exchange partner (currently Dial An Exchange). Banking points converts them to the equivalent of 7-[consecutive] nights’ accommodation space within the ‘Holiday Exchange On Request’ network. The request to bank Points must be received prior to the expiry date of these Points.
2.4Bookings at non-Classic managed properties are subject to their own individual terms and conditions and members are encouraged to refer to the specific property/resort websites for full information.
2.5If a Club Member is making a Guest booking, the booking is deemed to be betweenClassic Holidays and the member making the booking, (not theMember’s guest).
2.6The Booking Confirmation will be in the name of the Member’s guest checking in at the destination property and will be forwarded to the member
2.7The Member must notify Classic Holidays of any changes to a guest booking after which time a new confirmation will be issued and the member and the destination property will be notified accordingly.
2.8Under no circumstances are Members permitted to make bookings for commercialpurposes. The ‘on-selling for profit’ of confirmed accommodation space provided by Classic Holidays or a third party provider to the Member is not allowed.The Manager (Classic Leisure)reserves the right to prevent members from making reservationsif it forms the opinion that the member is making these bookings for commercial gain.
- BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that circumstances sometimes change and plans are altered atthe last minute. Member Services staff will accommodate special circumstances wherever possible once a booking has been confirmed, however no guarantees can be made.For this reason Classic Holidays Points & Play members are offered a “Cancellation Protection Option” (or ‘CPO’) at the time of confirming a booking using Club inventory or for Holiday Exchange on request only.
The following Cancellation Protection Option rules will apply:
CLUB PROPERTIES
CPO is not available on Bonus Weeks, Option Resort, partners or any other “special” or “promotional” offers. The Cancellation Protection Option is conditional upon Classic Holidays receiving cancellation advice from the member, a minimum of 48 hours prior to arrival. Please note the following rules apply:
- Accepting CPO- If you need to cancel your holiday within thirty days of arrival but no later than 48 hours, your points will be saved for you to use at a later date (up to the original points expiry date).
- Declining CPO- If you declined CPO at the time of confirming your holiday, Point penalties will apply depending on the number of days prior to arrival the cancellation notification is received
Should you cancel your reservation within:
- 30 Days or more prior to check-in-Full Refund of Points
- 14 to 29 days prior to check-in-50% refund of Points
- 13 days or less prior to check in- No refund of Points.
HOLIDAY EXCHANGE ON REQUEST
- Accepting CPO- If a Points Play memberneeds to cancel a confirmed reservation, the Points utilised for that booking and any exchange fee paid will be saved foruse at a later date (up to the original expiry date). There will be 'no charge' for the replacement reservation. A new CPO fee will be payable on the replacement reservation if the member accepts this option again. There are no monetary refunds on cancellations and the replacement booking must be made within 24 months of the cancellation date of the initial cancelled booking(up to the original expiry date).
- Declining CPO - should a member decline the offer of the CPO at the time of confirming a reservation, the exchange fee will be forfeited for an exchange reservation, regardless of the notice given by the member.
Any change of dates to an Exchange booking will incur the same penalty (ie the exchange fee will be forfeited).
In circumstances where cancellations are made less than four (4) weeks ahead of the check in date, the points used for the exchange will also be forfeited.
CPO is not available on any other booking type and in the event of a cancellation of such reservations, all amounts paid will be forfeited.
The CPO fee is currently $15, subject to change without notice (this fee is advised at the time of booking). CPO is conditional on Classic Holidays receiving a cancellation advice from the member, a minimum of 48 hours prior to the check-in date.
There shall be a forty-eight (48) hour waiting period between the cancellation of a booking and a new reservation if a Member cancels a Points reservation and requests that same reservation as a Member Special Offer.
- PROMOTIONS
4.1Promotions and Special Offers will be offered to members from time to time (via telephone, email, facsimile or mail) these promotions give members the opportunity to take better advantageof any additional benefits attached to their membershipand increases their options for using Points towards products other than accommodation. These promotions will vary from time to time.
4.2Should members not wish to participate in promotional offers, they may opt out by advising Classic Holidays via mail telephone, email or facsimile.
4.3The duration of these promotions may sometimes exceed the term of the member’s Points Play membership, making it necessary to renew theirmembership in order to take full advantage of such promotions for their full duration.
5.MAINTENANCE LEVY REBATE
Points members have the option to claim a Maintenance LevyREBATE, subject to the following conditions:
- Members must retain a balance of 10,000 points from each entitlement;
- Members must submit a rebate request form within 30 days of the levy due date;
- total levies must be paid by the due date and the maintenance levy rebate will be sent as a refund.
- RESORT PLUS
Classic Holiday Club Membershave the option of exchanging Weeks or Points entitlements they own in Classic Managed Resorts or in selected non Classic Managed resorts (equivalent to one week’ entitlement) forPoints to be used through the Points & Play Program. This use represents a once off exchange for a specific entitlement. This option is subject to a fee per Entitlements and to the Resort Plus Program Terms & Conditions.
- GENERAL
6.1Availability cannot be guaranteed, especially at high demand locations or during peak holiday periods.
6.2Standard check-in days for Timeshare accommodation are generally Friday (to Friday) or Saturday (to Saturday).We expect our members to comply with the property’s check-out guidelines to facilitate the preparation of accommodation for incoming guests.
6.3The Points & Play Program may be modified or withdrawn at any time with or without notice. Exchange, resort and cruise company affiliations and PointsPartnerships are subject to change (at the discretion of Classic Holidays) with or without notice.
- DEFINITIONS
Escapes Member:Any person who has purchased an Escapes Membership and is entitled to use the Club for a specified term.
Points Member: Any person who has purchased a Points Membership and who is issued the number of Classic Points purchased each year on their anniversary date.
Limited Points Member: Any person who has purchased a Limited Points Membership and who is issued the number of Limited Classic Points purchased, each year on their anniversary date for a specified term.
Classic Holiday Club Members: Points Members, Limited Points Members and Escapes Members.
Use Points: Points purchased by Classic Holiday Club members, utilised for bookings and participation in the Points & Play Program.
Classic Points:Points issued to Points members annually on the first day of the anniversary month of their purchase. These Points can be used for accommodation bookings and also for products that are part of the Points Play Program.
Points & Play Program: A program offered by the Manager, Classic Holidays,in which new and existing ClassicHoliday Club membersare enrolled, providing these members withaccess to a worldwide network of industry partners.
Points Play Member: A Classic Holiday Club member who is enrolled with the Points Play Program which provides exclusive access to additional holiday options.
The Manager: Management Company providing management and reservation functions for the Classic Holiday Club; Classic Leisure Pty Ltd trading as Classic Holidays has been appointed as the Manager for the Classic Holiday Club.
Exchange Partner: Dial An Exchange is the current exchange partner offering access to resorts in Australia, New Zealand and worldwide, via ‘Holiday Exchange On Request’.
Exchange Fee:there is an exchange fee (currently $100 per week exchanged) charged for international bookings made through the Exchange Partner; there is no exchange fee charged for bookings made in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
Member Services Consultant: A Club representative employed to process Member holiday booking requirements.
Member Special Offer: Last Minute discounted accommodation options, including discounted accommodation vouchers. These additional offers will be made via telephone, email, facsimile or mail; they vary and are subject to availability and specific terms and conditions.
Nominated Person: The person who is authorised to make and cancel holiday reservations, on behalf of the member, as per the Guidelines and Regulations.
Guest :An invitee of a member, whether relative, friend, associate or other person, either staying with or visiting the member or guest staying with the member’s permission or a person on whose behalf the member has made a booking (for non-commercial purposes).
Maintenance Levy Rebate: PointsMembers have the option of using theirpoints to claim a Maintenance Levy rebate, subject to the Terms & conditions of the Maintenance levy rebate Offer.
Resort Plus Program:ProvidesClassic Holiday Clubowners and Owners inselected non-Classic Managed Resorts the option of exchanging their Weeks or Points entitlements (equivalent to one week’s entitlement) for Points to be used through the Points Play Program.Participation inthis program is subject to a $55 feeper Week or equivalent entitlement and to specific terms & conditions available on the website,
