Linkages to Learning Program
The Linkages to Learning Program at Viers Mill Elementary School assists students and their families with services that help children to be successful in school, at home and in the community. Services include:
MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
J Mental Health Assessments
J Individual child, parent, & family therapy
J Consultation with school staff and other agencies
J Prevention, early intervention, & therapy groups for children
J Support groups for parents
J In-service training for teachers
SOCIAL SERVICES & CASE MANAGEMENT
Kensington Wheaton Youth Services, a program of the Mental Health Association, administers Linkages to Learning services at Viers Mill Elementary School in collaboration with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and Montgomery County Public Schools. DHHS is a primary funder of these services
