Circuit Luncheon Meetings

First Circuit: On March 18, 2016 the First, Fourth and Tenth Circuits will be hosting a joint luncheon from 12:00 – 1:45 p.m. at the offices of Venable LLP, 575 7th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20004. Michelle Harner will lead a discussion about the current status of the various proposals included in the ABI Commission’s Report.
Second Circuit: On March 18, 2016 the Second Circuit will host a luncheon from 12:00 – 1:45 p.m. at the offices of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, 1850 K St NW, Suite 1100, a short taxi ride from the hotel. Tom Mayer, of Kramer Levin, will be speaking on developments in Puerto Rico.
Third Circuit: On March 18, 2016 the Third and Sixth Circuits will be hosting a joint luncheon from 12:00 – 1:45 p.m. at the offices of Foley & Lardner LLP, 3000 K Street, NW, Suite 500. Steve Rhodes is giving an update on Puerto Rico's financial crisis.

Sixth Circuit: On March 18, 2016 the Third and Sixth Circuits will be hosting a joint luncheon from 12:00 – 1:45 p.m. at the offices of Foley & Lardner LLP, 3000 K Street, NW, Suite 500. Steve Rhodes is giving an update on Puerto Rico's financial crisis.
Seventh Circuit:On March 18, 2016 the Seventh Circuit will host a luncheon from 12:00 – 1:45 p.m. at the offices of Jenner & Block LLP, 1099 New York Avenue, NW, Suite 900. The program topic is to be announced.
Eighth Circuit: On March 18, 2016 the Eighth Circuit will be hosting a luncheon only at 12:00 noon at the offices of Thompson Coburn LLP, 1909 K Street, N.W., Suite 600, Washington, DC.
Ninth Circuit: The annual luncheon meeting of the Ninth Circuit Fellows will take place on Friday, March 18, 2016, in conjunction with the annual ACB induction weekend events in Washington, D.C. Lunch will begin promptly at noon and will conclude by 1:45pm. Sheppard Mullin has generously offered to host the luncheon in its D.C. office, located at 2099 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Suite 100, which is about a 25-minute walk (or 10-minute cab ride) from the ACB host hotel, the Renaissance Washington Downtown. Many thanks to Mike Ahrens who arranged for his firm to host. Please make every effort to attend the luncheon. We will have an opportunity to hear at lunch from each of the Fellows-elect who will be inducted into the College on that Friday evening. There will also be updates on other events and developments in the College and in our Circuit. If you will be attending, please RSVP by March 8, 2016, to: .
