RE:SOUTH FLORIDA BRANCH REPORT
The South Florida Branch held its 10th Annual Golf Tournament which was a great success and a lot of fun with our vendors and Public Works Directors/staff.
Sam May and Mark Collins are working with Barry University to establish an Academy that will assist employees to obtain various certifications that employees are requiredto have to accomplish their work.

The Branch’s next luncheon meeting will be held at the City of Hallandale Beach on August 12, 2016. Directors are being encouraged to invite their City Managers as our guest to this luncheon so they will be present when we award our scholarships and awards. Plans are being finalized for the luncheon that will follow to be held at the City of Cutler Bay in Miami Dade County.
