Description:This oneday course includes the latest changes in technology, signal and lighting hardware,

specifications and procedures. Course is aimed at agency inspectors, contractor personnel and

consultants. The course includes the latest changes in technology, signal and lighting hardware,

specifications and procedures that have taken place in the last 5 years. The course will be taught

entirely in the classroom and will conclude with a 60 minute open book exam on the manual and

class material. A minimum score of 70% is required for recertification. You must have successfully

completed Signal & Lighting 2 and be certified in order to attend this class.

Audience:Agency Inspectors, Contractors, and Consultants that are certified in Signal & Lighting II.

Objectives:Students will be knowledgeable of changes that have taken place in the last 5 years from the

original certification date. Students will have obtained information related to items considered of

value and importance to aid in their delivery of a quality system with the least amount of problems

during and after completion.

Prerequisites: You must have successfully completed Signal & Lighting 2 and be certified in order to attend this

class.

Procedure:• Obtain supervisor’s approval before registration.

• Create an EIOR request for training registration.

• Select your supervisor as your first level approver. Your supervisor will forward as necessary.

• Include your employee number on all training requests and correspondence.

• Create your request a minimum of two weeks ahead of the event or you may not be registered in

time.
