Within the context of their job duties and responsibilities, all employees are required to:

-Report to work on time and remain on job during required hours, unless properly excused by their supervisor.

-Dress appropriately; attire should reflect modesty, professionalism, and be appropriate to the duties of the day.

-Remain focused on the job and its responsibilities. During work hours, employees should not be accompanied by their own children, receive visits from friends, or engage in personal phone conversations.

-The employee will strive to be an example of Christian virtue and personal decorum, seeking to be a Christian role model in and outside of the school day.

-The employee will seek to understand, appreciate, love, and serve the students and their parents. They will, to the best of their ability, provide for their fullest spiritual, intellectual, and emotional support.

-Employees should refrain from accepting gifts, gratuities, favors, money, and other compensation that might impair or appear to influence their decisions and actions.

-Carefully steward all monies, materials, and property of the school. Avoid the misuse of school funds or use school property for private or personal benefit.

-Avoid soliciting students, parents, or colleagues to purchase any items or services explicitly for personal profit.

-Maintain a tobacco-free, drug-free, alcohol-free campus. No employee should be under the influence of, possess, use, or consent to use these substances while on campus or while involved in any school-sponsored activity. Never furnish alcohol or any controlled substance to any student at any time.

-Do not engage in any inappropriate behavior with colleagues, parents, and students. This includes any act of child abuse, as defined by law; any act of sexual harassment, as defined by law; any sexual contact with a student; any solicitation, encouragement or communication of a physical relationship with a student, whether written, verbal or physical; any solicitation of sexual acts with a student, whether written, verbal or physical. The employee acknowledges that he/she is fully aware of his/her obligations under the state law regarding child abuse reporting requirements and he/she will fulfill those obligations.

-Exude a positive Christian attitude, helping to create constructive solutions to problems without complaining. The school, Grace church, vendors, colleagues, parents, or students should not be maligned in classroom discussion, published notes, and general conversation.

-Protect the privacy of families and students by not sharing confidential information.

-Receive permission from school administration before speaking to or corresponding with the media. Media inquiries should be referred to the Head of School. Public statements will be handled by the Head of School, Board spokesman, and/or Senior Pastor.

-Fulfill the duties and responsibilities of their position as required by their supervisor, their job description, Parent/Student Handbook, and the Faculty Handbook.

-Maintain and pursue all required certification.

-Participate in all required training as assigned by the administration.
