I would recommend GoongJeon for large group. Though there were 18 of us, the private room allowed for conversation from one side of the table to another. There is a pager button to summon the wait staff should you need additional help at the table. We weren't too worried about being loud and disturbing to other patrons. You're also bound to find an entree to your liking, given it's diversity. Order many entrees and share.

The samgyupbosam aka steamed pork belly, assorted veggies, and oyster heaven on earth....is HOLY WOW! I lived in Korea several years ago, and I'm so mad that I did not discover this dish there. But...thanks to Woo Chon, I have re-discovered my sense of adventure when it comes to Korean food.
The galbibibimbap (beef mixed rice bowl) was also a hit! Although, they could have (as I've mentioned before) made it with a fried egg so you don't have to ask for it. The haemulpajun (seafood pancake) is delicious and perfect, as always.

My favorite Korean dish is spicy seafood noodles (Jampong) which is actually hard to find at Korean restaurants. Not sure why this dish is rare but when I see it on a menu, that's what I will order. Not only does Woo Chon have this dish, it has the best Jampong that I have ever had to my recollection.

Baltimore pit beef places

Pioneer in Catonsville and Canopy BBQ in Ellicott City are my favorite pit beef stops. For crab cakes, I like Gunnings in Hanover. For seafood in general, I like Ryleigh's Oyster Bar in Federal Hill and Thames Street Oyster House in Fells Point.

Preference between Mama's on the Half Shell, Thames or Ryleighs?

I've been to Mama's once and loved it. Tried to get into Ryleighs but it was a two hour wait so skipped it (Ravens home game that night.)
