Terms and Conditions

  1. The grant received must be used for the sole purpose outlined in the application
  2. Expenditure incurred before the approval date stated in the offer letter will not be eligible for grant aid.
  3. Expenditure must not include VAT, if VAT is recoverable by the organisation from HMRC.
  4. Any change in the nature, ownership, financial profile or timing of the project should be reported immediately for approval to your local development officer.
  5. The applicant will ensure he/she has sought required no. of quotes for single items or services as follows:
  6. £250-£500 Single oral quote
  7. £501- £2,500 Two oral quotes
  8. £2,501 upwardsTwo written quotes
  9. An advance payment of 75% will be paid by BACS transfer into your nominated Bank account, on receipt of the grant acceptance form. Should the final expenditure be less than this payment, the applicant will be liable to repay the difference. Any residual balance due to the applicant will be paid by BACS transfer when the final report and expenditure has been validated.
  10. Any project activities or equipment funded from the grant must be adequately covered by insurance.
  11. Applicants must report all outputs achieved by the project. Satisfactory evidence in support of these outputs must be kept and made available for inspection, on request.
  12. Applicants mustcomply with any requests for information relating to the progress of the project during its life.
  13. On completion of the project a final monitoring report must be submitted to the local development officer within 3 months of the end of the project.
  14. Evidence of expenditure will be required comprising:-
  15. invoices, till receipts etc
  16. bank statements
  17. proof of salary payments (where applicable)
  18. The applicant must ensure the grant acceptance form is signed by two people with the appropriate authority.
  19. The applicant must ensure all expenditure is completed 3 months after the project end date as stated in the approval letter.
  20. We reserve the right to withdraw the offer of grant or request repayment in full if :-
  21. the information on the grant application is found to be substantially incorrect,
  22. the grant monies are used for purposes other than those specified in the application,
  23. there is unsatisfactory progress towards completing the project,
  24. the organisation ceases to exist or becomes financially insolvent.
