Directions to Casa Mediodia from Ensenada
Here is the latest version of directions from Ensenada to Punta “Banda” and our Bed and Breakfast.
You will be arriving from either the Ruta Vinacola(wine country) on Route 3 or the Coastal Highway on Route One.
Stay on the right and go through the waterfront.
Continue on this road through Ensenada and follow the signs to “La Bufadora”.
Continue through Ensenada on Route 1
Go South from Ensenada (Route 1) to the Bufadora Turnoff in a town called Maneadero.
This will be a right turn toward LA Bufadora onto RT 23.
You will go about (19.2km) 12 miles up the north side of the Punta Banda on RT 23 from the turnoff in Maneadero so check your odometer here.
· Pass thru towns of Cantu and La Jolla (Bomberas is the fire department at La Jolla)
· Be careful of the road bumps, the last two are in La Jolla where there can be a lot of foot traffic.
· Continue up the mountain road past Lomas del Mar and Rancho Packard
· Continue past the turn off to Lobera and continue for another 100 yards
· You will be turning LEFT onto the dirt road at the Green hut.
· There are a lot of big signs for Cruz International Homes and also our little Red and White Bed and Breakfast signs and Campo 9 signs. There is also unfinished construction just past the turn.
· Turn to the left where you will see our signs for Casa Mediodia (on the rt side of the road)
· This is a dirt road next to a green hut and will cross over to Campo 9
· Follow the yellow highlighted road on the map below. This is a dirt road and is 2 kilometers from the paved road to our house.
· Be sure to turn RIGHT at the first fork in the road.
· There are no other turn offs, until you get to the Campo 9 gate, but the road is winding around. Go through the open gate.
· Follow the Bed and Breakfast signs to register.
· You should be able to see three houses. We live in the Brick Red painted house.
· The two yellow houses are our bed and breakfast rooms where you will be staying.
· The other Brick red house is our New Clubhouse.
