  • Colleen reached out to IACT and they provided the entire list of attendees. She edited out members and added 387 client e-mail addresses to current list
  • Colleen always appreciates ideas anyone has for an email blast. She explained the purpose of the monthly emails is to keep QBS in the forefront with a “short and sweet” email. She is looking for humorous ideas associated with current events.
  • Colleen asked that members forward contact info of clients requesting fee-based proposals. She will send them information about QBS. Contact info sent will be treated confidentially; clients won’t know who provided their contact information.
  • Colleen will look into who has “unsubscribed”
  1. QBS Booth at IACT and IACC Conferences
  • Still looking for volunteers; open slots shown on the sign up form
  • Set up and tear down should take no more than 15 minutes
  • Colleen will send another email to members seeking volunteers
  • Hope is for 2-3 volunteers to staff the booth
  • Colleen will get all materials to Shari who will transport to IACT and set up
  • Colleen asked that someone provide a laptop (or IPad) to play a streaming video
  • The new brochure along with a couple swag items will be handed out
  • Colleen is looking into conducting drawings for gift cards to encourage conference attendees to drop their business cards
  • Colleen will develop a feedback sheet for volunteers to share ideas for improvement and lessons learned
  • Purdue Road School will be considered for a booth in the spring

Update Tri-folds and flyers- see new promotional materials

4.Open Discussion

Dave mentioned that INDOT is now using price based selection on traffic data collection. Federal Highway considers it “non-engineering” and therefore acceptable. This will be brought to the attention of the INDOT committee.
