Design and Communications

NAZ Volunteer role description

Do you want to help people from Black and minority ethnic communities gain access to healthcare and support?

NAZ is looking for a volunteer to support our design of resources and communications for our 1000Women project working with Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) women.

About NAZ

NAZ is a leading provider of health and HIV prevention and support services to targeted BAME communities in London. We provide advice and support for people living with HIV as well as running health promotion, support groups and training and outreach work.

1000Women

1000Women is an online social movement giving BAME women a voice. A voice to talk about issues that matter to them but are not openly discussed within their communities. 1000Women focuses on:

·  Mental health

·  HIV and sexual health

·  Sexuality, including minority sexualities such as lesbian and bisexual

It provides an online forum where BAME women can tell their stories, share their experiences and connect with other women. Ultimately our goal is to make effective use of collective BAME community knowledge and experience as a form of social currency.
