Our fall fundraiser continues to be bigger and better than ever!! We are once again in the beautiful LakesidePark which accomodates more people! The date is Sunday, October 19th 2008 from 10 AM – 4 PM. The event is open to the public for a fun filled day with family and pets.
Participants will include vendors (crafts, jewelry, household items), informational (police, fire, rescue organizations), and a variety of entertainment (animal exhibitions, games, rides, singing & dancing). Weather permitting, we will have hot air balloon rides and an antique car show. We also will have a food area where a variety of refreshments can be purchased for lunch or snacks.
The booth fees are listed on the next page of this letter. Check in begins at 7 AM and participants must be completely set-up by 9 AM. No vehicles will be allowed on the grass around the pavilions but there will be space to unload and then move your vehicle before the event starts. Please let us know if you have very heavy items so you will be placed to accommodate this. Remember to consider this is a way to advertise your business to the public. Some will by that day while others will call on you in the future so bring plenty of business cards or flyers.
The shelter will have the business license to cover the businesses and we will need to collect the city sales tax of 4% that day based on your sales.
We are asking that vendors register prior to the event. If you wish to rent a tent and table, please include this fee with registration form. Vendor space is limited, so we encourage you to mail in your registration form early! You can reserve your booth by filling out the vendor application on the following page.
