Bowland Field Trip
This Tuesday, the 21st, is our end of the year field trip to Bowland in Port Charlotte. Students will need a packed lunch and to wear tennis shoes. The school bus will leave at 8:30 and will return at 1:30. If you are a chaperone who is riding the bus, you may meet in our room. If you are following the bus, you may park in the cafeteria parking lot and follow the bus when we pull out. Thanks for all the chaperones that are going!

Classroom Instruction
With a busy schedule for this week and next week, I will be teaching these spelling words, vocabulary words, and reading skills for two weeks. There will be no assessments this Friday, but rather next Friday, May 31st. These assessments will be the final grades for the year.
Field Day
2nd grade’s field day is thisWed., May 22nd. Students will be involved in water games. Girls may wear a one piece suit with shorts and boys may wear swimming trunks with a shirt. Please send a towel (with name written on it) and an extra change of clothes. Please have them put sunscreen on before coming to school.
