Mr. WillcuttHonors Algebra II

Welcome to Honors Algebra II, a gateway to higher-level mathematics. Within this class we will be looking more in depth to what you have already learned and moving towards new material. We will begin with Equations, Inequalities, and Quadratics during the first quarter. Following that we will move into Polynomial and Rational Equations for the second quarter. The third quarter will be diving into Sequences, Series, Exponents, and Logs. Finally, during the fourth quarter we will be spending time working on Radical and Trig Functions for five weeks and Probability and Stats for four weeks. So even though this class is broken down into five units it is actually a large amount of mathematics to fit into a year. So I intend to move at a very quick pace.
