2. Forthcoming Events
o Burns Supper 27th February 7.00 pm £8.00 per head (if kids are performing their ticket will be paid)
o Easter Concert – date to be arranged possibly 1st April
o Bag packing Sainsburys – Saturday 8th February time to be arranged – Keiran McGinley has secured an opportunity for leadership abroad and some of the bagpacking money will be used to sponsor him.
3. Grants
(a) South Lanarkshire Rural Partnership Renewable Energy Bid Money to be spent by March 2014. EM to chase up spending.
(b) SLC Community Grant will be submitted next week – small grant that can be used for materials for the school shows
4. Finance
Accounts for 2012/13 currently being audited. Once completed we can claim back VAT and Gift Aid. Need a big push to get new members to sign up for monthly draw there have been no new members and some members have withdrawn. Also highlighted that the PTA received money from Easy fundraising. LG will recirculate the note on how to do this.
January draw made at meeting by Cairn Robertson with the winning ticket chosen belonging to J Masson (Christie).
5. Events
a. Holocaust memorial – great event in Uddingston grammar pupils from Ogilvie first class
b. HMIE coming into school tomorrow (30th January) to look at the way the school is implementing the curriculum for excellence
6. Miscellaneous
a. Thanks to Frank Gaddis for his elephant creation for the panto – the whole event was a great success and made money. Videos of the school show are now available
b. EM to speak to Les Madden about prices for a sound system
c. Seniors to give an indication of what they want for their shop e.g. pens pencils etc. PTA will arrange
