There are no more important questions from church members today than those concerning a new birth. Everyone who reads their Bible knows that Jesus taught the necessity of it for entry into heaven, but how does it happen? How can one know that it has happened to them? That they have “passed from death unto life”?
Considering the importance of the topic, we have placed it at the top of our list for “Simplified Truths”. Prayerfully read and study along with us, as we strive to present as simply as possible the Word that produces a new birth today.
#1How Can I know If I Have the New Birth?
Peter says that we must be born by the Word of God. (IPeter 1:23) Jesus said He would build His church upon the rock of revelation. (Matthew 16:17-18) Hence, a new birth comes by a revelation of the Word of God. A revelation is a “clear understanding” of a part of the Word of God which can only be imparted by God to an individual. Also, not just ANY part of the Word of God, but the part (or scripture) that He is fulfilling in your day. You can see this pattern all down through the Old Testament, and also the more recent New Testament church ages, that the message comes for that day and THAT DAY ONLY. During the seven church ages of the last two thousand years God sent a specific scripture to each age that would only work for the age it was given for. (Example: Romans 1:17- “The just shall live by Faith” – Martin Luther)
Now, ask yourself, “What revelation did I receive when I was born again”? “What Scripture was it based upon?”
#2What Revelation and Scripture Causes a New Birth Today?
Revelations 10:7 says that when the 7th Angel begins to sound, the mystery of God will be finished. This is our Scripture. Our revelation is a clear understanding of this “finished” mystery of Jesus Christ.
The Mystery- Part One “The Background”
Beginning with creation, God has been doing something “behind the scenes” mysteriously through time that mankind didn’t understand until Jesus arrived, and pointed back in history and told them that all of those events had been an example ofHIM. He was the mystery of what God was doing, revealed. The foundling church was built upon the clear understanding of this mystery. (Example: Luke 24:27-The two men on the road to Emmaus) God’s purpose in doing this was to express Himself in a way so that mere humans could know Him through watching Jesus.
The Mystery- Part Two “The Finishing”
Since Jesus’ ascension, God has continued expressing Himself,only now in many people instead of just one man.This expression has taken place during the period that church historians have called the “7 church ages” found in Revelations chapters two and three. No one has known what was going on until the seventh angel came according to Revelations 10:7, and closed out the seventh age, and then began to “sound” (give out the message of the now unsealed book, (See Revelations 5:5) which unveiled this 2nd part of the mystery of what God had been doing down through the ages. It was a further expression of God, in people. He sent Word (a thunder) to each age, and people for that age caught it, and expressed God. He had kept each part of this mystery hidden until it had been fulfilled on earth before he made the revelation or understanding available. Simply understanding that this is what God has been doing and how He accomplished it, is your “door” into Jesus Christ, spoken of at the end of the seven church ages in Revelation chapter 4:1
The Old Testament was the “husband” (2nd Adam), the New Testament is the “wife”( 2nd Eve). The two parts of the mystery of God, now both revealed. This 2nd part of the mystery of God has many interchangeable names: the seventh seal, the Body of Christ, the Lamb’s Book of Life, etc., and is the revelation by which we receive our new birth, token, Spirit of Adoption, Holy Spirit baptism, quickening, etc.
#3How do I receive this New Birth?
First, according to Acts 2:38 one must turn their heart to following after God, and be baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Second, let the Word wash you of wrong habits and ideas that are not according to God’s Word. (ICor 6:11). The third and final step is according to Apostle Paul in Acts 19:2, is receiving the Holy Ghost AFTER one has believed. The Holy Ghost enters into this person by God revealing to them this 2nd part of His mystery which was under the 7th seal, and was what John could not write in Revelations 10:4 when he heard 7 thunders sound out. He was told to “seal it up until the time of the end”. If Satan had found out what God was going to do by sending a message to each of seven ages, he could have done great damage. In this way the secret was preserved, and now we can see it, and know that we have passed from death unto life. (John 14:20)

13-4 The importance of revelation by the Spirit to a true believer can never be over emphasized. Revelation means more to you than perhaps you realize. Now I am not talking about this Book of Revelation and you. I am talking about ALL revelation. It is tremendously important to the church. Do you remember in Matthew 16 where Jesus asked the disciples this question,
“Whom do men say that I the Son of Man am? And they said, Some say that Thou art John the Baptist: Some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou Simon Bar-jona; for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
The Roman Catholics say that the church is built upon Peter. Now that is really carnal. How could God build the church upon a man so unstable that he denied the Lord Jesus and cursed while doing it? God can't build His church upon any man born in sin. And it wasn't some rock lying there as though God had hallowed the ground at that spot. And it isn't as the Protestants say, that the church is built upon Jesus. It was the REVELATION. Read it the way it is written: "Flesh and blood hath not REVEALED it, BUT MY FATHER HATH REVEALED IT, and UPON THIS ROCK (REVELATION) I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH:" The church is built on Revelation, on the "Thus Saith the Lord".
Christ is the Mystery of God Revealed 63-07/28
443 Then, listen, so many people has got the wrong conception. To convert people to Christianity, and to its government, is not God’s thought at all. You say, “We made converts to Christianity by His government”. That’s not it. Do you know the Mohammedans can outshine you? You know the heathens in Africa, them black man, and they got laws among their tribes that outshines anything you can produce in Christianity.
448 Now notice, God making Himself known. Not, we’re not supposed to make converts to Christianity by a government; but by the revelation, the Christ in you, as God was in Christ. As God was in Christ, Christ in you! When, what God did in Christ, Christ does in you! What signs did God in Christ, Christ does in you! Oh, Isn’t that beautiful? Uh! Oh, my! I like that.
Notice the prophet said “a revelation”. So we must ask ourselves “what revelation?” It only takes this one revelation to bring you to life. It has to be the revelation that is designated for this age to quicken the Bride for this generation.

195 Now, that's what we was talking the other day, the evidence of the Holy Ghost. See? The evidence of the Holy Ghost is when you can receive the Word; not some system, but have a clear understand. How do you know the Word is clear, understand It? Watch It vindicate Itself.
"Well," you say, "I see this do it, and that." Oh, yes, weeds live the same way. See?
But it's got to be the entire Word. To be the Bride, you have to be part of Him. He is the Word. See? And what a part of Him is it? The Word that's promised for this day when He calls His Bride. Be a part of that. You get it? Now, don't--don't lose that now. Notice.
And He makes it a fit place to live through Eternity.
267 And if you are the Bride, the Bride is a part of the Husband. And if... The only place that you'll ever recognize It, is recognize what part of that Husband (that Word) you are, or you can't recognize being the Bride. How many sees that? See? See? You have to recognize your position.
You can't recognize somebody else's. What if--what if Moses would have come with Noah's message? And Noah was a part of it, but it wouldn't have worked. What if--if--if--if Jesus would have come with Moses' Message? It wouldn't have worked. See, it was a different age, it was a different prophecy, a different part of the Word had to be fulfilled there. They was another day of the week. Not, Tuesday's work can't be done on Wednesday. And Wednesday has got to be done on Wednesday. See? Saturday has to be Saturday's work. See?
And, they, they was recognize, "Oh, Moses, we have Moses."
God’s Only Provided Place of Worship 65-11/28
88 If I taught you a Methodist message, it would take no effect on you, this is Bride time. If Moses taught the message of Noah, it would take no effect. If Jesus taught Moses' message, it would take no effect. Because the predestinated seed are laying there that will only be watered by that type of water that's give for that seed. See? It won't grow any other condition. It must be the condition that grows it.
Now, you can take a chicken egg and put it in a incubator, which should be under a hen, but it'll hatch anyhow. Put it under a pup it would hatch. It's the warmness, the condition that makes it hatch. So it has to be under condition. You could take a good live egg and put it under a dead hen, it won't hatch. See? See, it's the condition.
Well, that's the way it is in this age that we're living in, you've got to find what is God's way of doing it for this age. That's what Martin Luther found, that's what John Wesley found, that's what the Pentecostals found in their age. God's age and time to do it.
“There is a “planting” time, and there is a “watering” time. Notice the prophet said here that it is the “watering” of the seed that produces the new birth...by the revelation for your day. The “planting” is getting our lives and our doctrines right.
The Feast of the Trumpets 64-07/19
64Now, if I come with the message of Pentecost, I would be in the LaodiceanChurch Age, and it wouldn't be right.
That's the reason that Wesley could not take Luther's message. Luther was in one age, church age, and Wesley was in another church age. If Jesus would have come in the... with the message of Moses, it would not have worked. If Moses would have come with the message of Noah, it would not have worked.
But God has lotted to His--His--His people, of every age, a Scripture. And before the age can come into existence, into time, then the churches has got it so mixed up that they--they don't know where they're at.
That's the reason they fail to recognize Jesus being the Son of God. They, their traditions had blinded their eyes, but He was exactly with the Scripture.
101 Hadn't had it through the age. See that perfect continuity of the Scripture? Here we live in it. The mysteries; even of the baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and away from the Oneness idea; and these other things, how the Holy Spirit has moved that in and showed it perfectly; and the true Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Token, and everything, and placed it; and how He placed every reformer and everything, just exactly. And, see, right before our own eyes, and it's not in a corner. It's world-known. Jesus, the Son of God, revealing Himself by the Scriptures, making that Scripture that has been predestinated to this day, like it was to that day and all other days, live. And, to believe It, is the evidence of the Holy Spirit.
Notice the only way that we can receive the Holy Ghost is through the promise of the Word that is allotted for our day. Life only comes from the Word. See the importance of finding our Scripture for our day? Revelation 10:7 is this Scripture. It is after this mystery is finished that He reveals it, and shows it to His Bride through His prophet’s message.
This Day this Scripture is Fulfilled 65-02/19
126Peter stood up in the midst of them, said, "Man and brethren, you that dwell in Jerusalem, and you that dwell in Judaea, let it be known unto you that these are not drunk, as you suppose, seeing it's the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoke of by the prophet Joel, 'It'll come to pass in the last days, I'll pour out My Spirit upon all flesh.' This day this Scripture was fulfilled." Certainly.
Luther was right on time. Wesley was right on time. Pentecost was right on time. Nothing out of the order.
Now I ask you to consider the age and time we now live in, with the promised Word for today. If back in other ages, man could say, "this day this Scripture," "this day this Scripture," then what about the Scripture for this day? What's promised for this day? Where are we standing? What hour are we living; when the clock is beating, the scientific clock, three minutes before midnight? World has got the jitters. The church is in a bed of corruption. There nobody knows where they're standing. What time of day is it? What about the Scripture for this day?
The Holy Spirit brings life to you out of a Scripture. It is this understanding that brings you into Christ.
The Unveiling of God 64-06/14
129 In type, Moses coming from the Presence of God, with the Word of God for that age. Now watch, we're now in Exodus 19. Don't miss this now. Exodus 19, Moses is coming from the Presence of God, or 20 and 21, 19:20 and 21. Moses is coming from the Presence of God. He has been into the Word. The Word has been wrote. And he, in the Presence of God, with the Word, he had the Word for that age. There is a Word for each age. And Moses coming forth, his face shined so! See? The Word was in him, ready to be manifested, give out to the people.

97 And now just be as patient as you can, for I feel that in this here, if God will help me, will reveal and bring into your mind all these other things that I have talked on all through the days of the tabernacle; why I have said what I've said, and why I have done what I have done. This is why.
This has been the whole purpose of God sending a message to literally turn the hearts of the people to Jesus Christ!”
210 Do you get it? If you fail, come back to this tape again. I don't know how much longer I'll be with you. Remember, this is the Truth, of THUS SAITH THE LORD. It's the Truth. It's the Scripture.
184 "Predestinated!" There's the mystery. He, before Christ or anything else was ever on earth, you see His great mystery, that He chose the Bride. Knowing Eve would fall, from disbelieving the Word, knowing that she would fall; but He would choose a Bride that would not fall, that would hold to that Word regardless of what all the rest of the world had to say about It. They would hold to that Word! They are predestinated to stand there, "the adoption of children by Jesus Christ," predestinated the Church to that great, glorious stand!
Now you see His secret? What to? To restore fallen Eve, as she was a prefigure of the Church. And now notice, as God opened up the side of Adam and took out Eve, by his own flesh and blood; and divided his spirit from masculine and feminish, to feminish, and put it in Eve. Took the rib from under his side, and made Eve out of it; so God did the same thing, taking out of the side of Christ, the Blood and the water. And Christ is the Word, and taking the Word and making up His Church, Eve; see, back to Himself again, redeemed by the Blood that was come from His Body. You see it now
