PARAMEDICAL TRAINING, 3 – 6 DAYS

COURSE OUTLINE

PRE-REQUISITE

For the 3 day Paramedical Course, training in Cosmetic Micropigmentation (Eyebrows, Eye & Lip Liner & Full Lip Shading) is preferred or a medical background. For the 6 day training, no pre-requisites are identified.

CERTIFICATION

Graduates receive a certificate from the Centre for Permanent Makeup and certification for Blood Borne Pathogens & Communicable Diseases as well as Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System from a Department of Health approved educator.

EARNINGS’ POTENTIAL

Paramedical artists initially charge a minimum of $150 per hour, with the goal of $200 an hour - $250 a half hour.

Also close by are the War Museum, Museum of Civilization and Museum of Nature. Walking & biking tours abound.

Westboro is a 10 minute bus ride from downtown Ottawa with transit every 5 minutes (#87, #94, #95, #96 and #97).

The neighbourhood has many restaurants, cafes, dessert, coffee and tea shops, hair and nail salons, boutiques offering gifts and clothes, outdoor and sports’ outfitters and some pubs.

In the commercial building where we are located, other tenants include an esthetician, registered massage therapists, electrologist, psychotherapist and computer company.
