Are You Missing Out On God’s Blessings?

Rev. Revita De Chalus, Lord of Hope Ministries

Are you missing out on God’s blessings?

During this holiday season of Christmas, some people are thinking of the gifts they will give to others. Some people are looking for and longing for items that they can’t buy or can’t have for a variety of reasons. Some people believe they are missing out since they can’t have the items.

They may be missing out, but not because they can’t have the items.

They may be missing out because they’re not looking for God in their situation.

Are you trusting in God’s grace?

Look at what our Lord has given to you. Use what God has given to you to do more than you think is possible.

With God, all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)

Allow our Lord to develop your creative side. Learn to use what our Lord has given you to do more than you can imagine. Let us take an example from the Lord. Look at Matthew 14:15-21.

Jesus took 5 loaves and 3 fish to feed many.

Our Lord knows the plans he has for us. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Our Lord asks us to count the cost before starting a project. (Luke 14:25-34)

Maybe you don’t have enough for the project. Maybe you shouldn’t start the project. Maybe you should have a different project. Maybe you should do the project differently. Maybe the project should be done in steps. Examine all the options.

If it is an item, do you really need it?

Is it really God’s plan for you, or is it a distraction to take you away from God’s plan for you?

Does our Lord want you to reach out to others as part of God’s plan?

Does our Lord want you to become closer to Him and trust Him instead of others?

Our Lord will reveal information to you if it is part of His plan when you ask Him. (Matthew 7:7-8)

Our Lord blesses us in so many ways. Don’t miss out on our Lord’s blessing to you.

You need to have a relationship with our Lord to receive direction and understand blessings on a regular basis.

Do you have a relationship with the Lord? If not, now is a good time to start.

Ask the Lord to be the leader of your life. Ask for forgiveness for all the things that you have done that displease God. Tell the Lord that you believe in your heart, soul, and mind that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, and that you are grateful to have Jesus as the leader of your life.

Now you have a relationship with the Lord. Read the Bible to learn more about this relationship. Pray daily. Gather with other Christ followers.

Don’t miss out on God’s blessings!
