AUGUST - SEPTEMBER / DATA: Local Report Card Release (Accountability Data); Value-Added Data Release (Accountability and Diagnostic Data)
Teacher Level Reports for prior year released (Additional level of authentication needed to access); Superintendents update access in EVAAS to reflect current staff; teachers review Diagnostic Reports and utilize Formative Instructional Practices (FIP) to assure that instruction is meeting student needs
OIP: District, Building, and Teacher Level Teams meet to look back at last year’s data and plan forward for upcoming year
OTES: Professional Growth or Improvement Plans developed and reviewed; eTPES set up; Self-Assessment (optional); Observation Cycle 1 and Walkthroughs; SLOs submitted for approval (if applicable)
TGRG: Diagnostics administered by September 30; RIMPs developed for students determined as Not On Track
SEPTEMBER -
OCTOBER / DATA: Information shared with appropriate stakeholders (Board of Education, Teachers, Parents); teachers continue FIP in classroom to guide planning and instruction
OIP: Team meetings to analyze data and identify trends and patterns
OTES: Observation Cycle One / Walkthroughs continue; SLOs reviewed and approved
TGRG:RIMPs developed; Communication with parents; Interventions; Progress-Monitoring
NOVEMBER - MARCH / APRIL / DATA: Teachers continue FIP in classroom to guide planning and instruction; utilize periodic assessments to gauge progress toward enduring understandings; administer SLOs as appropriate based on interval of instruction
OIP: Implementation of plans for the year; periodic meetings to monitor plans; regular meetings of teacher teams
OTES: Completion of Observation Cycle One--Complete Performance Rubric for Cycle 1
Begin, Maintain, and Complete Observation Cycle Two; Upload Artifacts to eTPES (as applicable); Walkthroughs continue
TGRG: Ongoing communication with parents; Interventions; Progress-Monitoring
APRIL / MAY / OTES: Completion of Observation Cycle One--Complete Performance Rubric for Cycle 1 / Begin, Maintain, and Complete
  • Observation Cycle Two; Upload Artifacts to eTPES (as applicable); Walkthroughs continue
  • Completion of Observation Rubrics by May 1; Written Reports due to teachers by May 10
  • Determine Holistic rating for each teacher’s performance and enter into eTPES
  • Teachers complete and report results of SGM to principals; Principals verify and enter each teacher’s local SGM
  • Complete / document Final Summative Rating for each teacher
  • Contract renewal by June 1
