RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:

  • Worked as Senior Research Fellow with the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Pusa, New Delhi, India, under the World Bank funded, National Agriculture Innovative Project from 5 February, 2009-30 March 2013 “Nature of interactions among the Entomopathogenic Nematodes, their bacterial symbionts and the insect hosts”.
  • Worked on pesticide residue analysis from various commodities (soil, water, vegetables).
  • Worked on extraction, purification and analysis of secondary metabolites fromEntomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) Xenorhabdus and Photorhabdus bacterial strains.
  • Worked on extraction, purification, analysis and nutraceuticalsattributes of anthocyanins and carotenes
  • Worked on and evaluation ofessential oils fortheir antifungal, antioxidant activity and their chemical profiling through GC-MS.
  • Well-versed in determination of invitro- antioxidant activity (CUPRAC, FRAP, DPPH, etc.) in fruit, vegetable matrix and plant extracts.

M. Sc. PROJECT

  • “Studies of Physicochemical Parameters of Potable Water of Agra”

The project aimed at checkingabout the water quality of the potable water from different sites in Agra. Various different physicochemical properties viz. conductivity, pH, TDS, chloride, fluoride, potassium, sodium, hardness, alkalinity, dissolved oxygen etc. were analyzed.
