Section 3: Event Information

A veritable feast to set you up for the day. What better way to see Lake Windermere!

Up to 6 participants on the boat. Exclusive hire includes complimentary bottle of bubbly

After a two hour hands-on sailing session we drop anchor and offer you a tasty Cumbrian picnic lunch with a glass or two of carefully chosen wine and tea or coffee to complement your meal.

When the table is clear we hoist the sails and take in the scenery.

What better place to see the lake than effortlessly gliding along it or taking charge on the helm if you want the ultimate experience.

Practical tips for your safety and enjoyment

• Please wear soft non-slip shoes.
• We supply all safety equipment.
• Wear warm clothes for cold days.
• Smoking not permitted on board.
• Remember your camera.
• Although we dine in the comfort of the cabin, the sailing element is outdoors so a waterproof coat and trousers are essential if it's raining

IMPORTANT: These events are active and players should be aware of the physical activities involved. CSSC reserves the right to cancel the event if under subscribed.

All CSSC members taking part in the event are covered by CSSC Sports and Leisure Public Liability Insurance. Please note that this policy is NOT a Personal Accident Policy. Members are encouraged to take out their own insurance policy.
This event is open to your friends or family members. As a reminder, under our Linked membership scheme, up to three of your friends or family members can join CSSC and take part in our events at members’ rate. Membership is also available to staff working in the Public Sector such as NHS, local government, teachers, the police, fire fighters and HM Armed forces personnel.

Once entry forms and payment are received and processed an acknowledgement email will be sent out with further information a week before the event.
