Junior Parents Fundraising
CHEESE ROLLS
Cheese roll fundraiser has been organised. The dates; orders and money paid by the 5th October and delivered by 9th October. Bank account details have been added to bottom of order form.
Donations would be appreciated for the following;
Cheese $35 for 5kg or single blocks of mild cheese,
Onion Soup $30.75 for 1.9kg container,
Donations towards the bread, Couplands will do a deal for $1.39 each for orders over 100 loaves.
Sauce has been kindly donated by Quality Foods Southland.
Profit will be split between sales and time making cheese rolls.
RAFFLES
Labour weekend raffle $20.00 a card, two dollars each.Two items minimum for raffle. Please start bringing to hall. Profit id directly what you sell.
This will be repeated for Christmas and Easter also. Cards available very soon.
QUIZ NIGHT
The date has been set for Thursday the 3rd November at 7pm at The Newfield Tavern. $20 per team. Each participating family is to donate two raffle items minimum, remembering we need as many raffles as possible. You will make direct profit from each team entered on behalf of your family. All other profits will be divided between participating families. Please hand in all raffle items to Rachel, Susan, Laura or Murray.
BINGO
Bingo night coming....watch this space, date and details to be confirmed.
TRUFFLES
Order forms will be given out in late October, and looking at making them on Saturday the 26th November. Kitchen is to be confirmed.
We have learnt from last year that the crumb we used was not suitable, so are looking to use Griffins Superwine biscuits. This crumb is more expensive so we hoping to make as much as possible from donated biscuits.
We are looking at doing the mint truffles, but require some low cost truffles to make. If anyone has any recipes or ideas, can you please forward them to Rachel on .
WORKINGMANS CLUB
Dates for dancing at The Invercargill Workingmans Club are to be confirmed for November and March. Looking at the 19th November so far.
