11:45 - 1:00pm Buffet Lunch - Caesar salad, pasta salad, or field green salad with assorted dressings. Sliced roast strip loin, pasta primavera, and chicken Tuscany. Fresh green beans with roasted shallots and bacon, roasted rosemary fingerling potates. Dessert includes mini cheesecakes, mini pastries, mini éclairs, and chocolate covered strawberries.

1:00-2:30pm Chemical Sources Association Technical Meeting and Presentations:

Steve Wang from Aromiens International, will present -Amino Acids in Flavor Applications.

Benoit Nicol from IFF will present ingredients from their sourcing platform in Madagascar:

Cinnamon Essential™, an innovative way of extracting cinnamon bark bringing a smoother, more natural effect.

Natural Beta Ocimene, an isolate from Tagette Oil exhausting mango, tropical notes.

Ginger Oil Fresh, a perfect balance of citrusy and spicy notes.

Basil Verbena, a unique species of basil with citral, lemon notes.

2:45 – 3:30pm SFC Membership Informational meeting - Membership Committee Chair, Elsa Howerth, will discuss the overall process for nominating and testing candidates for entrance into the SFC. Membership Committee member, Cathianne Leonardi will explain the interview process. Candidate sponsor, Glenn Mangarelli, will share how he prepares applicants. Also, recently inducted member, Nicole Baran Fernandez, will explain what it's like from a candidate’s perspective. Membership Q&A to follow.

3:30-4:00pm Richard Pisano, Jr. from Citrus & Allied Essences, Ltd. will be discussing the unusual situations confronting, lemon, and lime with particular emphasis on Citrus Greening and unusual weather. He will be bringing alternative oils to show and have the genuine articles ready to taste for comparison purposes.
