Task 1.

Copy the sentences below. Underline facts in blue and opinions in red.

The car was blue.

The man had lost his coat.

“Friends” is not a very good television programme.

Some people mean that Manchester United is the best football club in the world.

I believe that he will win the race.

Pete Sampras is the best tennis player in the world.

Pete Sampras, the tennis player, won the World Championships.
