Reading of Open Public Meeting Act
Election results were given for Executive Committee:
Federal Government – Roger Barlow
NJ Land Surveyor – Richard Carlson, Jr.
Regional Authority/MPO – Joel Falk (tie with Mark Gatti who conceded)
Executive Committee Reports were made:
- Roger Barlow – Federal Government – Committee Report due out soon.
- Andy Rowan (for Larry Thornton) – State – Roundtable of CIOs is developing. Plan for 2007 Orthoimagery is being developed.
- Jim Girvan – County – Developing county roundtable.
- Rob Sparkes – Municipal – Municipalities are receiving more support. Passaic Co. is completing parcel data.
- Lyna Wiggins – NJUniv., Colleges, K-12 – Please suggest education topics for new task force.
- Mark Gatti – Regional Author./MPO – DVRPC orthoimagery is in the QA/QC phase. Linear referencing on NJDOT Straight-line Diagram Geodatabase is available.
- Rich Carlson – NJ Surveyors –Geodetic is starting up a new CORS Task Force.
- Richard Rehmann – Private Sector –Congratulations to Lyna Wiggins on URISA award. Stressed: balance, sharing, networking and information dissemination.
Task Force Reports were given:
- Data Sharing/Security – Doug Schleifer – Work is completed and final report will be prepared
- Elevation – Suzy Hess – Inventory still ongoing. Spring DEM being prepared for Burlington and Camden, 2’ CI.
- Geodetic – Rich Carlson - The geodetic inventory and web application headed at NJDOT is stalled.
- Partnerships/Information Coordination – Jim Girvan – new chair will be Dave Kunz and Vice Chair will be Janel Bisacquino.
- Parcels – Dawn Hunter – Application of Parcel inventory continues.
- Public Safety – Tom Rafferty – State Attorney General is rolling out EPINET.
- Standards/Metadata – John Bocchino – Developing some EPINET information.
- Transportation – Lyna Wiggins for Glenn Newman –Preparing report for 1st quarter 2006.
