Lesson /
  1. Agenda: Students will copy the weekly agenda in their planner. Teacher will go over important dates for the week: Knowsys Quiz, Outside Reading, Library Day, and Assessments.
  2. Knowsys Review of Group 19: Teacher will review each word: pronunciation, part of speech, connotation, definition, and sentence. Students will engage in discussion of word and write down word and definition in their composition book.
  3. Philosophical Chairs: Students will be using their prepared notecard to state their viewpoints, agreed or opposing, on the issue and sit facing each other across the center of the room. Students who do not have a position will sit in the “neutral zone,” and will be taking notes to gain more insight to make an informed decision and position. (F)
