Call to Order
The meeting of the Park Hill High School PTA was called to order by president Bonnie Cannon at 6:30pm
Roll Call
Samantha Irving called the roll of the committee chairs. The following were in attendance: Bonnie Cannon, Samantha Irving, Nick Gardner, Sharla Decker, and Yvette Dorn. Additional members in attendance: Linda Burr and Sara Monsees.

Treasurer Report
Financial Update presented by Nick Gardner
*Concern of the bowling alley deposit being returned with the location change for the after prom party. To be determined at a later date.

PHHS PTA President’s Report September 2016
After Prom Auction: Need donations. Forms will be on the school website in the next two days.
Argosy Casino, October 29th.
Tickets: $35 per person. Shared table sponsor: $150 (1 ticket included) Full table sponsor: $350 (10 tickets included) 6pm Silent Auction and entertainment 7:15pm Dinner 8:15pm Live Auction
After Prom Party: April 22nd Midnight -3am on campus. Neon theme. Similar activities as in the past mixed in with some new features like having access to the swimming pool.
Spiritwear: Has not been a money maker in the recent past. New styles bought. Use of the SQUARE for credit card payments in place. We will be setting up a schedule to sell during lunch hours.
Jalapeno Brothers PHHS PTA Night Out: Set a date or two. 25% after expenses will come to us. All people have to do is Like their FB page.
No more Target $$$$. Use Smile.amazon.com and donate a portion of your purchase cost to the PHHS PTA. Schwan’s also offers a discount and money back to PTA’s.
E-Membership Cards. All members should have received their membership cards via email.
Poll teachers about what is needed to get all students ready for college and career.
Considering holding a dinner and BINGO fundraiser.
Possibly hold a Principal Cook-Off. Not necessarily for fundraising, but for fun.
Reflections: Due date November 10th. Theme: What Is Your Story”
National PTA: Resolutions passed in June.
Water Safety and Instruction
Homework: Quality VS Quantity
Recognition of LGBTQQ Individuals as a Protected Class
Conventions: MO PTA, April 28-30 in Columbia
NPTA, June 22-25 in Las Vegas
Committee Reports
Yvette Dorn gave report about conference meals. Sign-up lists are out. Jalapeno Brothers Restaurant is donating 100 tacos each day.
Floor opened for Questions
-Concern about students crossing Barry Rd in an unsafe manner
-National Committee Lottery in an effort to send more members to national convention
-Concern about Homecoming tickets not being sold on the Friday before Homecoming
Adjournment
President Bonnie Cannon adjourned meeting without objection at 8pm.
