Position Qualifications:

  • Ohio certification/licensure for High School Principal
  • Administrative experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent past teaching experience
  • Outstanding instructional leadership skills focused on student growth and achievement
  • Demonstrated leadership skills focused on team building and student-centered education.
  • Demonstrates expertise building excellent rapport with students, staff and parents
  • Projects and encourages a positive, cooperative atmosphere within the school and seeks to motivate all staff toward the fulfillment of the school’s/district mission and objectives.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills to effectively manage the daily operations and administration of assigned functions.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively and work productively with all levels of district staff, students, parents, and the general public.
  • Advanced computer and technological literacy skills
  • Experience in building a master schedule
