ROCK SPRING PARK - Washington Twp NJ

From Route 78 West

  • Take Exit #24 toward Oldwick / Whitehouse and bear right toward Oldwick
  • Turn right at Oldwick Road
  • Oldwick Road turns into Old Turnpike Road, follow this road for 5.75 miles
  • Old Turnpike Road will become Fairmount Road, follow Fairmount for 3.6 miles
  • At the end of Fairmount road there will be a stoplight, turn slight right at the light onto East Mill Road and make an IMMEDIATE left onto Route 24 / Schooley's Mountain Road.
  • Follow Schooley's Mountain Road for about 1.5 miles and the entrance is on the right hand side just before the Washington Township Police Department

From Route 78 East

  • Take Exit #24 toward Oldwick / Whitehouse
  • Turn left at Oldwick Road
  • Once on Oldwick Road follow same directions to the field as from Route 78 West

From Route 80 West

  • Take Exit #26 toward Budd Lake / Hackettstown
  • At the end of the exit ramp merge onto Route 46 West and follow for 5.1 miles
  • Turn left onto Naughright Road and follow for 2.7 miles
  • Turn right onto Flocktown Road and follow for 0.8 mile
  • Turn left onto Rock Road.
  • At the end of Rock Road turn left onto East Springtown Road
  • The entrance to the park is about 0.2 miles up the road on the right

From Route 80 East

  • Take Exit #19 toward Hackettstown
  • Turn left onto CR-517
  • CR-517 will turn into High St., follow High St. until it ends
  • Make a left onto Main St. and follow for 0.45 miles
  • Make a slight right onto Mountain Avenue
  • Mountain Avenue will become Schooley's Mountain Road, the entire distance is about 4.4 miles
  • The entrance is on the left hand side just after the Washington Township Police Department

From Route 57

  • Take Route 57 to Newburg Road
  • Follow Newburg Road all the way to the end
  • Turn right onto Rt. 24 / Schooley's Mountain Road and follow for 1.1 miles
  • The entrance is on the left hand side just after the Washington Township Police Department

From Route 24

  • Take Route 24 West / Schooley's Mountain Road
  • The entrance to Rock Spring Park is on the right just before the Washington Township Police Department
