WEDDING CHECKLIST
Here is a simple list to keep track of events before your special day.
1) THREE MONTHS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
* Collection of wedding invitation cards from Club
* Decide text of wedding invitation cards with printers
* Research and book photography / videography packages
* Book hair and make-up people
2) TWO MONTHS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
* Decide menu details, music preference and arrange a meeting with our Sales Manager
* Send out wedding invitation cards
3) ONE MONTH BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
* Confirm Master of Ceremony
* Arrange for food tasting session
* Confirm special requests (e.g. Vegetarian or Muslim tables)
* Confirm attendance of guests and collect a seating plan from our Sales Manager
* Ensure that your dress and bridesmaid’s dresses will be ready on time
* Conduct a trial hair and make-up session
4) TEN TO SEVEN DAYS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
* Collect your dresses
* Finalise attendance of guests and all details with our Sales Manager
* Finalise Seating Plan
5) THREE (WORKING) DAYS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
* All details and changes to be finalised or confirmed with our Sales Manager
6) ONE DAY BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
* Relax and look forward to the next day
WEDDING DINNER CHECKLIST
Please provide us with the following information by two weeks before date of event
- Number of guaranteed persons/tables (we will provide a floorplan based on the information given)
- Requirement for beer/wine (to be served during pre-dinner or just dinner)
- OCC will provide only 2 VIP tables
- Guest registration book (colour – red or ivory)
- Will you be using the buggy for march in?
- Will you be using the LCD projector for video projection?
- Will you be using your own music or OCC’s music?
- 12 parking lots will be reserved for you infront of the Social Clubhouse
- Requirement for Chinese/Muslim/Vegetarian food and number of persons/tables
- For reserved tables, if it is not utilize , we will not charge you
- Choice of door gifts – potpourri or chocolates
- Program for event (if any)
- You need to arrange your own master of ceremony (MC)
- Signage wordings to inform your guests
- Wedding couple’s name to be shown on the signboards and menu covers
This information will be put into an event order and facsimile to you for verification. Any changes must be made 3 working days before date of event

We have included a proposed schedule for your dinner banquet to assist you in your planning.
APPROXIMATE TIME EVENT
2.00pm Check in at Orchid Lodge reception
4.30pm Master of Ceremony and Bridal couple to
meet with Banquet Captain for final briefing
7.00pm Arrival of guests at Cocktail Reception
8.30pm Bridal march-in followed by cake cutting
Dinner commences
During 2nd course Bridal couple to change into second suit
After 3rd course Prepare for Champagne toasting
Before 4th course Toasting of couple on stage
Table to table toasting
10.30pm End of banquet dinner
Wedding couple and family members
Proceed to exist to thank your guests’
presence
