TOURNAMENT RULES

POINTS WILL AWARDED IN EACH CLASS ACCORDING TO ENTRIES AS FOLLOWS:

CLASSES 5 OR LESS

1ST – 1 POINT

CLASSES 6-20

1ST = 2 POINTS

2ND = 1 POINT

CLASSES 21 -30

1ST – 3 POINTS

2ND = 2 POINTS

3RD = I POINT

CLASSES 31 – 40

1ST = 4 POINTS

2ND = 3 POINTS

3RD = 2 POINTS

4TH = 1 POINT

CLEAR ROUNDS 0.5 POINT

  • IN THE EVENT OF A EQUAL POINTS THERE WILL BE A RUN OFF

OVER A JUMPING COURSE. SHOULD A DOG NOT BE AVAILABLE

FOR THE RUN OFF THEN THE DOG PRESENT WILL TAKE THE

AWARD

  • A CHANGE OF HANDLER IS PERMITTED
  • A DOG THAT CHANGES GRADE DURING THE SERIES, WILL

CARRY FORWARD ITS POINTS INTO THE NEXT CLASSIFICATION

RULES AND REGULATIONS

In the event that the show is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, the club/society will refund fees, less reasonably incurred expenses, on receipt of a stamped, addressed envelope submitted within 1 month of the show date.

  • Kennel Club standard marking regulations apply for all classes.
  • Only dogs of 18 calendar months of age and over on the day of competition are eligible for competition. NON KC REGISTERED DOGS ACCEPTED
  • No bitch in season is allowed to compete.
  • If you wish to do a training round, toys /NON-crumbly food may be taken in the ring, but you must declare NFC prior to starting your round. You will have the course time for that class
  • Spray Collars and pet correctors are not permitted.
  • Collars may be worn whilst competing but not loose fitting/choke or half check nor should they have any ‘dangly bits’
  • No person shall carry out punitive correction or harsh handling of a dog at any time within the boundaries of the Show.
  • No competitor shall impugn the decision of the judge or judges should the judge deem a re-run is required, any result and/or faults gained in the previous run must be discounted.
  • Competition of Dogs Suffering from Contagious or Infectious Disease – No dogs suffering from infectious or contagious disease or having been exposed to such disease during the period of 21 days prior to the Competition may compete.

The height limit for dogs as follows:

Large Dog classes - For dogs measuring over 430mm (1ft 5ins) at the withers

Medium Dog classes - For dogs measuring over 350mm (1ft 1.75ins) and measuring 430mm (1ft 5ins) or under at the withers

Small Dog classes - For dogs measuring 350mm (1ft 1.75ins) or under at the withers.

  • From Salisbury take A36 towards Southampton then the A27 signposted Romsey
  • From M27 – ether Junction 2 or 3 and follow signs for Romsey, then take A27 towards Salisbury.
