Monday Activities
October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30: Bowling at Concordia Lanes. Please arrive no later than 4:15pm. Bowling starts promptly at 4:30pm. Late arrivals may NOT be able to bowl per bowling alley rules, Thanks!. Cost is $5.00 per game this year. The extra 50 cents will be covered by the Allina Neighborhood Health Partners Grant for healthy activities.

Tuesday Activities
October 3: Cooking Class at the Middle School, 400 S Payne Street, Main Entrance near the playground—Door 1. Free class due to the Allina Grant! Tonight, we will be doing some baking for our Bake Sale Fundraiser on Saturday, October 7 at the Marktplatz Mall. 6:15 – 7:30 Please be on time. Thanks! Please RSVP by Sunday 9/10. FREE
October 10: Canvas Paint with Rhonda at the Community Center 6:30-7:30 p.m. RSVP $8.00

October 17: We will join our college friends at MLC for supper, conversation and a project. We are excited for the continuation of the Friends Group. 5:30 p.m. at MLC Cafeteria $3.00

October 26: New Ulm Police Department will be here at the Community Center for a fingerprinting session. Learn about fingerprints and take yours home! 6:30-7:30 pm FREE

October 27: Annual Banquet and Halloween Bash. Come in costume or just come as you! Join us at the Community Center for supper, dancing and fun. Menu: Lettuce salad with fixings, 2 pieces of pizza, pop and a jumbo cookie. 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. ****PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE RSVP by 10/20/17 $10.00
ARS League Bowling Shirts—Ink Apparel from New Ulm has designed our new bowling shirts. They are tie-dye and have a cool black and white logo. Please order yours now on any Monday night after bowling. The cost per shirt will be $16.00. The last day for ordering shirts will be October 23. Please drop off baked goods by 9:45 a.m. for our 2nd Annual Oktoberfest Bake Sale at the Marktplatz Mall on Saturday, October 7. Cookies, breads, bars and cupcakes are appreciated! Have them in a ziplock bag or on a covered paper plate. You can price them, or we can! Thanks for supporting ARS.
Twins Game, October 1—Event is sold out! Twins vs. Detroit game on Sunday, October 1. We will leave the Community Center parking lot at 10:00 a.m. The cost of the bus ride will be $10.00 per person. We will stop in Jordan at McDonalds for lunch on the way to Target Field. Enjoy supper, concessions and souvenir shopping at the Target Field. Cost of these will be on your own. All of you going have been notified. Thanks for signing up.
Upcoming Cooking Class Dates: Cooking class will be moving to the First Tuesday of the month during the school year. October 3, November 7, December 5. All classes are free courtesy of the Allina Neighborhood Health Connection Grant that ARS was awarded. **due to the popularity, class sizes will be limited because of the room size**Please don’t just show up…..RSVP is mandatory.
