This newsletter is being sent to High School (9-12) and Jr. High (6-8) students because there are some activities that both groups are invited to attend. If you need additional permission forms, please go to the parish web site (Y-M side bar) and download the forms. Those activities that are only for high school (HS) or junior high (JH) will be noted in the article; otherwise, both groups can attend.

NEW! - YOUTH BIBLE/PRAYER NIGHT
One Sunday night a month, come and read from Scripture and Pray for special intentions. The first gathering is Sunday, October 28th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Youth Ministry Center. All 6th thru 12thgrade students are invited. “Keep holy the Lord’s Day”. Other dates: November 25th, December 30th.

8th Graders and H.S. teens and their families are invited to join PSR in the gym for Family Night for a special Advent prayer and project. Please meet in the gym. What a good way to start the season of Advent and prepare to celebrate the birth of Our Lord, Jesus. Let Nerissa know if you will be coming.

HALLOWEEN HAYRIDE – HOTDOGS –
FIRE & GREENHOUSE MAZE

Where: Meet at Schuster’s Farm
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Who: All 6th-12th Graders. Parents
welcome to join in the fun.
Cost: $8/person. Includes the hotdogs –
hayride – maze.
Do you like roasting hotdogs over a fire? Have you ever been on a hayride? Can you find your way out of the greenhouse maze? This is an evening of fun the Schuster family is doing for us. The enclosed flyer has all the information.
Please meet at Schuster’s Farm where we’ll roast hotdogs at 6 p.m. The hayride and maze follows. I’ll bring the hotdogs, buns, ketchup, mustard, plates, cups, napkins, etc. You can bring snacks, pop, dessert.
A permission form is required and is on the back of the flyer. Please indicate what you will bring. I’ll need to know by October 16th who will be coming.
SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
Craft Nights – October 3rd & 10th
We are going to be making some crafts that will be sold at the Pumpkin Patch. If you like to do crafts, please plan on helping from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Youth Ministry Center.
Pro-Life Mass, Rosary,
Candle Procession – October 11th
We need your help to fill and set out
the luminaries in front of the church to the Fatima Shrine. Please meet in front of the church at 5:00-6:00 p.m. Mass is at 7 p.m. followed by the rosary and procession. If it rains, please call Nerissa at 324-9742 to see if your help is needed.
Pumpkin Patch/Campfire
Saturday, October 13th
Teens…We need your help in the
morning unloading and setting up the pumpkins, hay bales, cornstalks,etc. from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Meet in the gym/pavilion. Mass is at 4 p.m. After Mass, we’ll attend the Pumpkin Patch and help if needed.
Thanksgiving Baskets
Volunteers are needed to put together
food baskets so that those in need
may enjoy a Happy Thanksgiving Day! Meet in the Conlon Ministry Center at 9 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 17th.
