•G-8 Summit, Geneva, Switzerland (Organized by World Social Forum) G-8 summit on the topic of ‘Another world is possible’, organized by the Babels for the world social forum. Conference interpreting in booths for four days. Economic Policies, Trade Issues, Democratic deficit.
•Scottish Parliament Building, Select Committee Hearing on Racism and Equal Opportunities, Involving the case of Surjeet Singh Chopra , Edinburgh.This was a 1-day conference. Present was the First Minister for Scotland.
•World Social Forum, India, this was a 2 week long conference. Conference interpreting as well as consecutive interpreting. Issues involved Economic Policies, Third World debit, Sustainable development. This conference took place in Mumbai, 2005
•Delegation of Religious Leaders (Wafaq Ul-Maddaris) from Pakistan, organized by Foreign and Common Wealth Office, London
This was a 9 days visit involving visits to Lambeth Palace, Foreign and Common Wealth Office, Department for Education and Skills. The visit was on the issue of modernizing Madrassa education in Pakistan. Involved consecutive and simultaneous interpreting.
•NATO, NATO Parliamentary Assembly and European Parliament, A delegation from Pakistan consisting of 17 delegates from Pakistan Senate and National Assembly (Upper House and Lower House). There were a series of meetings and discussion about NATO and the role of Pakistan in Afghanistan War. Speakers included NATO Secretary General, Chairman NATO Military Committee, Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe, Allied commander Operations, Director of Staff, Deputy Secretary General for Policy, Deputy Director NATO Nuclear Policy, Head of Weapons of Mass Destruction Centre, and Permanent Representative of Turkey.
•NATO, Young Parliamentarians delegation from Pakistan, visited NATO Head quarters for a 3 days, similar to the above.
•Completed a subtitling project for Revolution Films for a Film called ‘A Mighty Heart’ starring Angelina Joeline, based on a true story of the Murder of American Journalist Daniel Pearl.
•I am the lead Urdu translator for a Multinational American company called ‘TransPerfect’
•I have completed voice over projects for the following companies: Glocal Media, Kay Translations, Codex Bilingua
•International Cricket Council (Tribunal Hearing) Interpreted for the Pakistani Cricketers Muhammad Amir and Salman Butt and Mohammed Asef, Accusations arising from the News of the World Report, allegations of spot fixing and match fixing. 5 day hearing.
