Kinder Morgan, Carteret, NJ April 2007 to Present

Operator/Dock-man

·  Responsible for the operation of a petroleum terminal with a total storage capacity of 7.1MM barrels throughout 266 tanks. Daily interaction with 5 key terminal clients (including government contracts) on pipeline receipt and shipments, tank-to-tank blending, and barge loading/unloading. Managed transfer processes with 3 major pipeline companies. Prepared all Plant Operating Orders for terminal movements using Galahad/Fuels Manager program and all maintenance orders using MP2 system. Experienced in handling marine vapor destruction units.

Wood Group, Equatorial Guinea, Africa June 2005 to April 2007

Lead Operator

·  Worked 10 weeks at Kiewit Offshore Yard in Ingleside, TX for skid commissioning / point to point checks with I&E technicians on Central Processing Facility for the “Okume” project with Amerada Hess in EG, Africa. Handled Solar’s Centaur and Saturn turbine generators including their fuel systems with numerous load-sharing transfers. Attended W-Industries control systems school for RS View “Studio” PLC/HMI’s and Natco’s Sea H2O treatment and Sulfate Removal Package “Nanofiltration.” Transitioned to a lead operator role in August ’05 on Okume “Echo” mini TLP overseeing simultaneous operations between platform commissioning and well drilling operations. Additional experience with Ballast Control Operations, Fugro, and Intermoor mooring operations. Also, was actively involved in P&ID revisions as well as Operating Manual corrections.

Offshore Operator (A Level)

·  Specialized in day-to-day offshore oil production including oil, water, and gas separation. Experienced in gas dehydration, compression, and chemical injection. Worked on both shelf structures and deepwater. Deepwater experience includes Chevron Texaco’s “Petronius” which processed 70mscf/day of gas, 50,000bbls of oil, and 4,000 gals of H2O per day. As well as subsea experience on Kerr McGee’s SPAR “Neptune” and ATP’s “Gomez” project. Other experience includes water flood injection, gas lift wells, troubleshooting loaded wells, MMS compliance, Wonder Ware and RS View PLCs. Computer knowledge includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet in conjunction with morning report requirements.

·  Primary job duty included day-to-day offshore oil production including oil, water, and gas separation. Gained experience with MMS testing intervals as well as with both Monosep and Floations cells. Operated satellite platforms in the field Experienced in gas dehydration, compression, and chemical injection. Worked on Shell’s High Island 179 primarily.

Process Operator

·  Primary job duty included the safe operation of Fluid Catalytic Cracker. Other cross-training included: Utilities (boilers and cooling towers) and Oil Movements. Served as a Senior Technician on FCC responsible for field operations. Controlled Honeywell TDC 3000 PLCs. Monitored various pumps, flow rates, pressures and temperatures. Ran caustic-free gasoline treaters. Assisted with two major turnarounds serving as a Lead Operator in one.
