GAA Scholarship Programme

is April 15th

Eligibility & Renewal Criteria

Scholarships are reserved for students who have reached or have the potential to reach a very high level of performance. Scholarships will be awarded for both undergraduate and postgraduate study.

GAA Scholars are required to:

  • Maintain academic progress
  • Maintain an impressive record of sporting achievement
  • Attendance of Training & Matches
  • Attendance at regular fitness testing
  • Take an active role in the running of the Maynooth UniversityGAA Club
  • Be available when selected to compete on behalf of Maynooth University in intervarsity competition
  • Be proactive in the promotion and development of the scholarship scheme through visiting schools or attending Maynooth University Open Days to discuss GAA opportunities at Maynooth University

Note: In addition to completing this form, undergraduate students must also apply to the CAO in the normal way.
