Client is an operator of water / theme parks and family entertainment centers located across the United States.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Academic Background:
College degree required; any type of safety certification is a plus.
Professional Experience:
a. 10 to 15 years of directly-related experience in the industry.
b. Retail, hotel or restaurant chain, leisure/hospitality, manufactured goods, multi-venue entertainment, construction, and/or insurance industry background is well-suited.
Main Responsibilities:
a. Ability to manage all details of an extensive, personal injury litigation caseload across the country, from processing legal fees and settlements to helping the General Counsel prepare for trials.
b. In-depth knowledge of comprehensive insurance coverage and worker’s comp policies and programs, safety enhancement programs, and liability prevention programs and training.
c. Proven track record of enhancing safety while decreasing liabilities and keeping administration and legal costs to a minimum.
d. History of closely working with insurance companies, TPAs, auditors, litigators, CFO, and financial staff.
e. Must be tech-savvy, able to comfortably administer all details of litigation and liabilities through a database system, while keeping meticulously organized hard-files.
f. Must be comfortable with running myriad reports upon request, conducting regular review meetings, being accountable for budgets, and working with financial figures and data.

b. Positive, “can do” attitude, always seeking proactive ways to improve functions, systems, reporting and transparency, and inter-departmental communications.
c. Understand and hold the highest ethical standards and duties while maintaining integrity in reporting and providing transparency with figures and data and liability forecasts and assessments.
d. Must have extensive experience attending mediations across the country.
e. Must be able to travel (at least 10% of the time), maintain regular in-office work hours (NO telecommuting) and be able to carry a heavy work load of litigation case files.
