Subject: Re: My visit to Japanese Embassy in Abuja
Dear TAK,
I was in Nigeria for two weeks: Easter holiday week and one working week in Abuja.
I had difficulty reading my mails conveniently and as i was quite engaged at NITDA I could not stay in contact with Dr Ollor. I am however optimistic that as i will be returning to Nigeria very soon, I am likely going to attend the May GUS/Nigeria Workshop.
I am cutting short the Course at Bergen, Norway by one week as it is the week for project report writing, so I won't be missing much and I need to be back in Seoul by Friday, 1st of May to attend to some pressing family matters.
There is a long holiday in Seoul next week (three working days), so this will give me time to complete the Concept note about intervention in the Niger Delta, work on the Nigeria Energy Modeling, and the eGov Econs Modeling Paper as well.
My meetings with the Honourable Minister of Niger Delta affairs, Chief Ufot Ekaete went very well. I now need to closely follow-up.
The final version of my presentation is attached for reference. I took out the prescriptive model framework and Process Model from the presentation at this stage. I am also attaching my abstract for my paper at the upcoming ICEGOV2009 for your reference.
Best regards,
Peter Jack,
