3. / Contract Option Period / The Work Order created from this RFQ will have the extension option of ‘any number of periods up to a maximum of 1 year’. This extension option may be used at the sole discretion of the AFP and is dependent upon a satisfactory performance assessment, budget funding and business requirements.

The Services will be provided during normal working hours at times requested by the AFP. These times are likely to be between the hours of 8am to 4pm on any day other than Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday recognised in the Australian Capital Territory.

11. / Services/work required / The Services, delivered in collaboration with and under supervision by nominated AFP personnel, consist of the following:
·  Develop test scripts for both functional and non- functional requirements;
·  Create, review and execute test cases;
·  Conducting system testing, ETL testing and data validating;
·  Test the design with system matter experts or end-users to ensure the procedures, processes and system meet business requirements;
·  Creating Test Plans for data sources;
·  Preparing Test cases for data sources;
·  Creating of test data sets using SQL;
·  Executing test cases for each release using SQL;
·  Review and report summary of test results for each release;
·  Work effectively in a small agile/scrum based team environment;
·  Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other team members; and
·  Record and maintain files/information in accordance with AFP requirements.

Mandatory Criteria must be met to progress in the evaluation, where the Weighted Criteria is scored / ·  At least 5 years’ experience in technical testing roles;
  Strong experience in writing complex queries in SQL for reading and updating data from various Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases for input/output to automated scripts and to perform data analysis.
Weighted Criteria - Desirable
  Demonstrated experience in writing test strategies and test plans;
  Demonstrated experience with Data Migration testing, backend validation and performing data quality analysis via SQL;
  Demonstrated experience with at least one automated testing tool for data migration;
  Demonstrated experience in writing code/scripts to automate tests against data sets and execution of these scripts;
·  Commitment to and demonstration of APS and the client’s values;
  Proven experience in preparing, developing and executing data driven test automation scripts;
  Demonstrated experience in building small applications to generate test data;
  Ability to develop test cases;
  Providing reports on progress, anomalies, risks and issues associated with the entire project;
  Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry certifications;
  Excellent communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills.

Security Clearance Level:
This role requires a AFP Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Candidates should be aware that the security clearance process can take some time to complete.
To assist in the timely completion of the security clearance process, it is highly desirable that potential candidates have maintained Australian Residency for the past 10 years. If you have any questions regarding the 10year residency requirement please contact the Procurement Representative.
Mandatory Drug Testing
Specified Personnel will be determined to be AFP Appointees and required to undertake a test for illicit drugs in accordance with the AFP Illicit Drug Free Work Force Policy.
