Information:
· Data is totalled for all directions of travel (eg both westbound and eastbound).
· All numbers represent average count of traffic per day.
· Sometimes there is not enough information to account for all missing data. Information on the procedures used for dealing with missing data can also be found on the above website.
· This site has additional historic data which can also be found in the accompanying Excel file.
· Counts represent the average flow of traffic over a 16 hour period from Monday to Friday.
Vehicle Class:
Counters categorize vehicles into ten different classifications.
· For counter 23 vehicle class data is missing for the majority of 2015 and all of 2014. Counts began again in November 2015 which explains why there is a significant change in the final two months (particularly in the number of heavy vans) as all data before November is patched from 2012/2013.
· More in depth classification data is available upon request (e.g. Eastbound vs Westbound, monthly totals, variation x days of the week).
· Counts represent the average flow of traffic over a 16 hour period from Monday to Friday.
Vehicle Speed:
Counters categorize vehicles into 13 speed groups, and produce average speeds.

· Speed data in 2015 for this counter was unavailable until mid-August. Therefore the last four months of this year should be taken as the most representative of the speed current speed splits at this location.
