Rosters/Entry Form:Official roster form must be signed by all parties. Your District Commissioner must sign your roster. The entry form included in this packet must be included

with your roster. A copy of birth certificates or proof of age must be sent with

your roster.

Player ID:Per 2008 ASA Code.

Rules:Per 2008 ASA Official Rules of Softball and Texas ASA.

Uniforms:Per 2008 ASA Code.

Time Limit:1 Hour 30 minutes for all games except the Championship and IF Games.

Run Rule:15 runs after 3 Innings; 12 runs after 4 Innings; 8 runs after 5 Innings

Tie Breaker:International tie-breaker will be used as per 2008 ASA Code.

GENERAL INFORMATION SHEET

  1. The tournament will be double elimination will all play governed by the 2008 ASA Official Rules and Texas ASA.
  1. All teams must be prepared to play by 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2008.
  1. Posted game time is forfeit time.
  1. All games will be seven (7) innings or 1 hour and 30 minute time limit, except for the Championship and “IF” games, which will a full 7 innings or run rule.
  1. Run rule is in effect for all games. The run rule is: 15 runs after 3 innings, 12 after 4 innings, and 8 after

5 innings.

  1. The tournament host will furnish the game balls.
  1. Protests must be according to ASA Rules for 2008. The protest committee will render a ruling before play

resumes.

  1. No infield practice will be allowed at any time on the game fields.
  1. Home team will be decided by flip of coin.
  1. Team at the top of the bracket will take the 3rd base dugout; the team at the bottom of each bracket will take the first base dugout.
  1. A suspended game will be resumed from the point of suspension.
  1. Alcohol is not permitted any where in the complex.
  1. The tournament director reserves the right to switch teams to a different field for the purpose of saving time if behind in the schedule or for any other circumstances that might arise.
