Addendum No. 2

YOU ARE INSTRUCTED TO READ AND TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED CHANGES, CORRECTIONS, CLARIFICATIONS, OMISSIONS, DELETIONS, ADDITIONS, APPROVALS AND STATEMENTS PERTINENT TO THE CONTRACT BID AND CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS, DATED MARCH 1, 2009. THIS ADDENDUM IS PART OF THE CONTRACT BID AND CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS AND SHALL COVERN IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK.

CLARIFICATIONS:

DRAWINGS

Sheet A1.1: Base bid shall include the extension of all utilities 5’-0” from perimeter of building.

Connection to utility service lines beyond site will be under a separate contract.

Sheet A2.1: Steel column at B4 shall remain. Windows type A shall be modified/relocated.

Sheet A3.1: Refer to attached Sketch No.3.1x for stone column modification.

Sheet A4.1: Refer to attached Sketch No. A4.1x for stone veneer wall section.

Sheet A4.4: NEW DRAWING, INTERIOR ELEVATIONS – (see attached pdf file)

Sheet A4.4 and A4.5:

  1. Provide alternate bid for granite counter tops in the following areas. Granite to be manufactured by American Hintech Industrial, Inc or equal or Total Scope Construction Services, Inc. Color to be selected by Owner. Finished to be polished smooth.
  1. Guest room vanity tops
  2. Registration desk counter top
  3. Breakfast counter tops
  4. Public restroom vanity tops

Sheet A5.1:

  1. All corridor and unit entry doors shall be prefinished 2 panels in lieu of flush.
  2. D4 shall be Hollow Core.
  3. Doors 4 and 24 shall be card lock.

Sheet E2.1: The risers shown on E2.1 are for conduits only as well as the outlets shown on E3.5. These

locations and risers do not depict cabling requirements. All data, telephone and cabling locations

and requirements need to be ferified with the owner prior to roughin. As shown on the drawings,

each location is a box and conduit for future cabling by others.

Elevator Room Plan notes are as follows:

  1. Plan Note #1: Furnish and install Busmann #PS2T20R2/R1KGAF3 power module for elevator shunt trip. Connect to fire alarm system as required. Verify all requirements prior to bid. Provide complete connection to elevator controller. Fuse per elevator requirements.
  2. Plan Note #2: 20 amp, 125 volt single pole fustat with lockable cover plate for connection to elevator cab lights. Mount on wall at 48” aff to top. Connect to elevator controller. Connection to elevator cab by others.
  3. Plan Note #3: Telephone outlet j-box mounted on wall at 48” aff to top. Provide ¾” conduit with pullwire to elevator controller or as directed by elevator supplier, and ¾” conduit back to telephone terminal board. Connection to cab by others, provide 8 feet of slack cable at elevataor controller. Verify exact location prior to rough in.

SPECIFICATIONS

  1. Fire Sprinkler: System shall be design to comply with NFPR 13R.
  2. Door Types: All corridor and unit entrance doors shall be prefinished 2 panel in lieu of flush
