For Immediate Release: Wisconsin Bike Fed Seeks MemberServices Coordinator

Salary Range: $26,400-34,500, commensurate with experience, plus benefits

The Wisconsin Bike Fed seeks a Member Services Coordinator to help manage and grow our membership base throughout the state of Wisconsin. The Member Services Coordinator will report tothe Membership Director and be based at our downtown Madison offices. This is a terrific entry-level opportunity for the right candidate who is passionate about bicycling and learning the operational facets of a small nonprofit organization from the ground up.

The Member Services Coordinator’s chief responsibilitiesinclude:

  • Tier 1 Customer Service for all member and community inquiries
  • Timely entry and updates of member records in the Bike Fed’s database
  • Accurate processing of payments including memberships, donations and fees
  • Preparation and distribution of all printed material for membership fulfillment, donation acknowledgments and special orders
  • Recruitment and training of volunteers as needed for events across Wisconsin
  • Planning and day-of assistance with the full range of Bike Fed special events

Required qualifications

  • Expertise in mail merge using Microsoft Office applications
  • Extensive database / CRM admin experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Customer service skills via phone, email, in-person engagement
  • Ability to manage several ongoing projects, set priorities and follow through

Helpful skills and experience

  • Familiarity with nonprofit organizations
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or Salesforce-compatibleapplications

The position calls for a highly organized, outgoing self-starter who is comfortable working in a high-paced environment and has a knack for friendly customer service. Minimum Bachelor’s degree preferred.This position is a full-time, salaried opportunity with some evening and weekend work required around special events. The position is based at Bike Fed’s Madison offices, but travel to Milwaukee and other event sites around the state will be required throughout the event season.
