Students will have the opportunity to take the Texas State High School Florist Certification Exam so they can leave MHS with a set of job skills and be marketable in the green industry.

Items Needed:

Thiscourse requires a $100 lab fee per student. This may be paid in two $50 installments. The first installment is due no later than Wednesday, September 28, 2016. The second installment is due by Wednesday, February1, 2017. This fee will help cover the cost of fresh flowers, vases and other supplies needed for the course. Students will be able to bring home many items they make throughout the semester. If a student fails to pay the floral lab fee by the deadline an unclear slip will be submitted to the appropriate campus administrator. The student will not receive report cards, exempt semester or final exams, purchase prom tickets, or walk at graduation until this fee is paid. The student could also be removed from the class if the fee is not paid.
