“PeruQuest” is a scholarship supported international studies experience that is directly integrated with the College’s general studies program. Students can earn academic credit while developing global perspective and skills valued by employers and important for civic leadership.
Partial scholarships are to be applied towards the travel costs or other expenses not related to tuition.Tuition costs are separate. You are responsible for any remaining balance for your selected trip, additional spending money, gratuity, as well as the cost of tuition.You will be required to pay back all of the awarded scholarship money if you do not participate in the trip or if you are sent home during the trip.
Certain criteria will be used to evaluate applicants for PeruQuest, all students are encouraged to apply, as every student will be considered.
Scholarship Criteria Guidelines:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- On campus student
- Sophomore standing or higher
- Relatively clean conduct record
- Not currently on academic probation
- Intention of graduating from PSC
The following is an application for scholarship assistance. The following must be completed and submitted by Monday, September 18, 2017 as part of your application process:
- PeruQuest Scholarship Application
- Reference form completed by Faculty, Staff, Advisor, or Dean
- You will also be required to participate in an interview after your application is received
If you are selected for a PeruQuest Scholarship, you will need to register for the trip no later than Monday, October 16, 2017. Failure to register by this date may result in revoking your scholarship so that it may be given to someone else.
