2018 MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
The next municipal election will be held on Monday, October 22,2018.
Nomination papers are available online and at the municipal office at 2 Del’Église Avenue, starting Tuesday, May 1st, 2018.
The deadline for candidatesto submit their nomination papers is Friday, July 27th, 2018 at 2:00 pm.

Nomination Period
From Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 to Friday, July 27th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
The candidates can file their nomination with the municipality clerk at the municipal office up to the end of nomination day, Friday, July 27th, 2018 by 2:00 pm.
Nomination Day
Friday, July 27, 2018 up to 2:00 pm
It is the last day to file your nomination at the municipal office. The nomination period ends at 2:00 pm. If a candidate chooses to withdraw from the election, they must do so prior to that date and time.
Certification of Nominations
Monday, July 30, 2018
The municipal clerk must certify a candidate’s nomination before 4:00 pm.
Campaign Period
From Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 to Monday, October 22nd, 2018
The electoral campaign of a candidate begins when he has filed his nomination and ends Monday, October 22, 2018.
Voters’ List
Tuesday, September 4, 2018
The preliminary voters’ list is available for the candidates.
Tuesday, September 25, 2018
The updated voters’ list is available for the candidates.
Election Signs
From Thursday, August 23, 2018 to Monday, October 29, 2018
Candidates can put up their campaign posters sixty (60) days before the election and up to seven (7) days after the election.
Campaign Finance
Tuesday, September 25, 2018
A final general spending limit for the campaign will be available for the candidates.
Voting Day
Monday, October 22, 2018
Polling stations will close at 8:00 pm.
