Animation: / An Animation includes drawn images, clay models, and/or real-life models that are animated to create the illusion of movement. If a piece integrates live action and animation, it falls under the animation production type. / Kid Pix,

Multi Media Application:Digital Photo Production:

/ These projects are a slideshow presentation that involves the organization of a number of original photographs on a single theme. Titles and captions may be used.
Any computer created project using original student photographs. / PowerPoint, Kid Pix, Movie Maker, iMovie (iPad), Office Mix, Sway, Photo Story, Animoto, or similar computer programs.

Productivity Design:Electronic Picture Book:

/ Thse Projects must be original student art work that has been scanned into slideshow software or original student artwork that has been created on a computer and imported into some type of slideshow software. (An author page may include a commercially produced school picture of the student.) / PowerPoint, Kid Pix, Movie Maker, iMovie (iPad), Office Mix, Sway, Photo Story, Animoto, or similar computer programs.

Audio/Video Production:

/ Full motion productions such as dramas, comedies, documentaries, commercials, news show, talk show, interviews with on screen talent such as actors, hosts, etc. A computer may be used for title, credits & overlays and may be used in the editing process. Such projects are still “Live Action.” / PowerPoint, Kid Pix, Movie Maker, iMovie (iPad), Office Mix, Sway, Photo Story, Animoto, or similar computer programs.

Multimedia Application:

/ A series of still images from slides, photographs, still video or digital images rendered into a production using photographic, electronic or computer technology. Text, music, video clips and/or narration may be added. The order that the stills are viewed in is fixed by the producer. / PowerPoint, Kid Pix, Movie Maker, iMovie (iPad), Office Mix, Sway, Photo Story, Animoto, or similar computer programs.
Audio Production: / An original audio production that has been edited/produced with digital software. Projects may include speaking, singing, music, sound effects and other audio components. / Audacity, Garage-Band, Wavosaur
Graphic Design: / Any student created, computer-generated, non-animated graphic design. / Paint,

Device Modification: / Devices modified by students to serve a specific purpose or meet a specific goal. Device and parts do not have to be new but they do need to work. / Students can decorate, paint, add lights or moving parts to a working computer.
