RE: National Medicines Information (MI) Training Course

I am in the process of allocating places for the next National MI Training Course. If you would like to attend this course or nominate one of your MI staff, please complete the nomination form which can be found on the UKMi website and return to me by <Insert appropriate date in view course administrator deadline> at the latest (please complete a form even if you have verbally requested a place).
Information about this course can be found on the UKMi website ( - specifically at The site also gives a variety of costs (NHS resident, NHS non-resident and non-NHS). The non-resident cost is exclusive of accommodation and breakfast (you will be expected to arrange your own accommodation and arrive promptly for all sessions).
Details regarding the process and all the required paperwork can be found on the UKMI website.
A completed nomination form and signed learning agreement must be returned to me for every MI staff you wish to nominate by<Insert appropriate datein view course administrator deadline>. Failure to do so may result in your nomination being returned and/or a delay in the processing of your application.
You will receive confirmation of a place on the course nearer the time from the course administrator. Therefore please do not worry about raising payment at this point. If you cancel after a place has been allocated to you, then the full cost of the (resident or non-resident) course fee will be incurred.
Please note that MI technicians are required to attend this course as part of the Accredited MI Technicians Training Scheme (AMITTS). Details regarding the scheme can be found at
