JOB OBJECTIVE:

Work experience:
Project experience : worked for HBI module 5, VPSA(vaccum pressure swing adsorption) and mass spectrometer projects (module 5 extension projects) as a instrumentation engineer from 11th sep06 to 25thapril 07.
Operation And maintenance:-: worked for HBI module 5 ,VPSA(vaccum pressure swing adsorption) and mass spectrometer in maintainance as shift incharge of instrumentation department from 26th april 07 to 20 feb 2010.Presently working as a south India controller,instrumentation,Praxair India pvt limited. Praxair India Pvt Ltd:It’s a 120 tons capacity ASU and 280 M3/H hydrogen plant in Chennai and CO2 plant in cochin.Critical customer for Saint gobain glass company.
JOB PROFILE:
· Errection and calibration of control valves (positioner used: IL ,TYCO,and SAMSON,FISHER,NELES JAMESBURY), shut off valves, knife gate valves.
· Errection and calibration of triple eccentric control valve (positioner used: TYCO SMART, SIEMENS) for VPSA project.
· Installation and calibration of temperature, pressure, level, flow transmitters (company:ROSEMOUNT, YOKOGAWA) using HART 375 and loop checking.
· Installation and calibration of electromagnetic flowmeters, magnetic flow switches (KHRONE).
· Installation of thermocouples ,RTDs, pyrometers, orifice plates, anubar, bubbler arrangement, capacitive probe for level, flanged tapping and pressure tapping provision.
· Installation and calibration of gas analysers of oxygen,CO2,CO,CH4 with cooler arrangement for removing moisture accumulation with local temperature controller.
· Errection of weigh bridge ,and weigh scale and arrangement of load cell and calibration for HDRI weight and HBI flow .
· Erection and commissioning of CO monitors and calibration of CO sensors .
· Errection and installation of mass spectrometer with both dry and wet sample with heater and cooler arrangement.
· Erection and commissioning of DCV and PCV in hydraulic system and installation of oil level ,pressure switches and transmitters(REXROTH and BOSCH)
· Commissioning of radioactive source ceasium137 level detector,ultro sonic level detector .
· Calibration of IFM flow sensor (measuring by temperature dissipation)
· Checking the response of radioactive detector and ultra sonic detector periodically and IFM flow sensors
· Checking of FID ,electrolytic ,electrochemical,Micro fuel cell,colometric,paramagnetic,infrared,analysers.
· Erection and maintainence of fire detectors and fire hydrant system.
· Field bus communication establishment and commissioning.
PLC(programmable logic controller):
· Errection and commissioning of SIEMENS S7 400 series panels, installation of I/O cards and loops checking of all inputs and outputs. Power supply 48v looping to all the i/p and o/p s.
· Programming in ladder logic for pumps, motors, cooling tower fans, shut off valves and all process parameters according to production reqirement.
· Back up installation and restart the system in cold and warm restart.
DCS(distributed control system):
· Commissioning of YOKOGAWA CENTUM CS3000 software used are version 3.08.01.
· Graphic page designing ,trend assignment, logic for motors and loop assigning for DOs in software, soft ,AS-H,L M switches,PID controllers assigning and tuning , programming in calculation blocks etc.
· Installation of analog and digital nodes, YBNC , YBNM cards and looping checking for all inputs and outputs.
· Establishing communication between PLC and DCS .
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:
· Bachelor of engineering in instrumentation and control from St.Joseph’s College Of Engineering Chennai, Affiliated to Anna University Chennai, Tamilnadu with 1st class (73 %) in the year 2006.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
· 10 th from Santhome Higher Secondary School Chennai with (80.1%) in the year 2000.
· 10+2 from Santhome Higher Secondary School Chennai with (71.5%) in the year 2002.
