The gate near the playground is now available for access to the pool area.

The pool gates are now secured by code-free, child-proof latches.

LIFEGUARD / POOL HOURS

Lifeguard services will be provided from Friday, May 25th through Monday, September 3rd, during these hours:

Sunday-Thursday 11:00am- 9:00pm

Friday-Saturday 10:00am-10:00pm

Holiday hours (Sunday, May 27th, Tuesday, July 3rd, and Sunday, September 2nd) 11:00am-10:00pm

The pool opens May 7th and closes September 23rd.

·  Adult supervised swim is allowed during daylight hours only when no lifeguard is on duty.

·  Swim at your own risk when no lifeguard is on duty during daylight hours only.

SWIM TEAM PRACTICE HOURS

Pool is used for swim team practice on Monday through Thursday. Practice is in the afternoon until Forsyth County Schools begin summer break. Practice is in the morning after FCS summer break begins. There is no swim team practice on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

May 7th - May 24th Monday-Thursday from 4:15pm-7:30pm.

May 29th- June 28th Monday-Thursday from 8:00am-11:30am.

·  During swim team practice, the 3’ area at the base of the slide may be used by children under the age of six, under close adult supervision.

·  Lifeguards will begin duty at 11:00am (starting May 29th).

PAVILION RESERVATIONS

If you would like to reserve the covered area (pool pavilion) for a birthday party or social event, please sign-up on the sheets at the pool. Reservations are available for Monday through Friday only. At other times, pavilion use if first-come, first-served. Please limit pavilion use to two hours to allow other residents to enjoy the shade provided by the pavilion.

POOL RULES

SUPERVISION

·  Adult supervised swimming is allowed during daylight hours when no lifeguard is on duty.

·  Swim at your own risk when no lifeguard is on duty

·  For health, safety and welfare of children under 12, they must be accompanied by an attendant. The attendant must be at least 16 years old. Parents are ultimately responsible for children of all ages.

·  Infraction of any pool rule can result in suspension of pool privileges for the entire family.

CLEANLINESS

·  Children that are not potty-trained MUST wear a swim diaper AND plastic pants. Standard and cloth diapers are not permitted in the pool. Costs, such as draining and refilling the pool, can be assessed to a homeowner if broken glass enters the pool.

·  Eating and drinking allowed provided the area is left clean.

·  Please wash sand or grass off before entering the pool.

·  No pets allowed in the pool area.

LIFEGUARD

·  The Lifeguard is in charge and has full authority in the pool area and can enforce all rules, both written and unwritten.

·  No loitering near the guard-stands, as this can be a distraction to the lifeguards.

·  The lifeguard may prohibit the use of floats at his/her discretion. Floats are not permitted when the pool is crowded.

·  “Safety Break” will be called once each hour for ten (10) minutes. Only people eighteen (18) years of age and older are allowed in pool during “Adult Swim”. All children should be on the deck during this time.

·  Horseplay, such as running, pushing, dunking, or excessive splashing is not permitted.

·  No diving.

SLIDE

·  Do not use the slide when the water is off.

·  The slide and mushroom must remain off when no lifeguard is on duty.

·  One person slides at a time

·  Absolutely no floats allowed on slide.

·  No loitering in slide landing area.

·  Wait until landing area is clear before sliding.

NO TRESPASSING – TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED
